Local ingredients, new coffee shop, homemade oat and cashew milk and more. The store has only been open a month and it is a clean, friendly place to grab a cup of coffee and hang out with friends.

Well I expected this place and coffee to be excellent if they are overpricing their items. But I literally couldn't take more than two sips, it was super hot and tasted burnt.
When it came to the place itself at least some kind of music would be nice, just felt like a lack of care.
If you are someone who appreciates the excellent taste of coffee this place is not for you.

The service was amazing and the food was even better. Probably the best house made salsas I’ve ever had and honestly I never ever leave a review so that’s saying something.

Love the iced coffee. Smooth. No bitter aftertaste. The shop itself is just kind of empty of character but the coffee is great.

100% Puna coffee
Best medium roast coffee you can get in town.
Hot Americano is my recommendation.

Yeah...I ordered their special caffe Miele, with almond milk hot. It wasn't the best. The almond milk was scalding which doesn't make it froth well and the cinnamon was just dosed on the top not allowing the spices to integrate smoothly with the espresso so the flavors are lost. For an $8 hot beverage I do expect more attention to detail. I agree with a past reviewer that said the baristas my want to access a video on how to make a good latte or mocha, etc...on YouTube. Also, serving Costco muffins? Hmmm...🤔
Otherwise service was great and the potential of the space could be really fabulous...😌

Just found out that Kilauea Coffee is under a new owner and new management.
A regular coffee is $4.50. The coffee I had today was great, and I’ll definitely be in again. If the coffee is consistently good this is a place both locals and tourists could support. Unless you love being in that Starbucks line out in the middle of the road like that ….

Thoroughly enjoyed the Miele Iced Coffee special two days this week. Coffee was excellent quality and alternative milk options are great. Barista was very friendly and service was wonderful. Highly recommended visiting for coffee and delicious pastries. It was not overly crowded and clearly a hidden gem.
