What an amazing place! We were treated to fantastic hospitality from the owners who took the time to explain the history of the pub, chat with us, and then even arrange a tuktuk back to our hotel. Very traditional pub with a pool table, fine selection of drinks, and friendly locals. There are concerns that the pub may be demolished to make way for a new bridge, so make sure you go there while you still can!

Save Kilindini Bar! Beautiful old bar, the oldest in Mombasa, ask the staff about the history and you will hear some amazing stories. Ernest Hemingway came by in 1933. The same family has been running it for over 115 years. It's in danger of being torn down for a new bridge. Go and experience this delightful place while you can.

Nostalgia knowing that it was the 1st establishment in Kilindini, it has a rich and colourful history and still run by the same family, that amazing. Price per person KES 500–1,000 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
