Kinder's is a great bbq place, and this is my favorite location. They don't get as busy as the one in Concord, so the staff tend to be less harried, which makes for a better dining experience. All of their bowls are good, and my wife is fond of the platters. Great place all around, I've never been disappointed going there. Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Wow what a rip off. We ordered two regular turkey sandwiches for takeaway (at $13.50 each before tax) and both of them had legit barely even 2 slices of meat. The sandwich description actually even says "For the hungry. 1/4 of meat." Ok on no planet is this even close to that lol. Super disappointed. They have been a family favorite for 40ish years. The loaded baked potato and the protein bowls are out of this world fantastic. Good grub. I would post a pic, but I ate it already! Ball-tip sandwich is soo good. Only reason I dinged the service is they can be really busy and the way the service works it can take a really long time to be served. But the food is worth the wait. Worst $20+ lunch I've ever had. SCANT meat (their "famous" ball tip = tasteless) on bland, dry bread with sticky, overly sweet bbq sauce. Fruit (not fresh) as a side (extra $4). Will only make this mistake once. 2 stars for service (vs. 1) because the young man honestly did try to explain to me what one of the sign images (looked like tacos or burritos with spikes of cheese sticking out) actually was supposed to be (bbq on a roll...ok). And when I asked for the side listed as "roasted vegetables," he let me know that they hadn't updated the sign, but they had discontinued that item two years ago. Um, ok. No one else was nice or friendly. Girl who took my payment was silent. Other woman was lecturing one of the young food prep guys on what he was doing wrong. One of the other food prep guys had frenzied dirt-looking hair hanging all into his face and neck. Neither pulled back nor hairnet. God knows what was shedding into the food. Good food generally, I've gotten food from them for many years and had many good experiences and couple of so-so once. Their ball tip and pork ribs are great and prices are reasonable. Sweet potato fries are awesome when fresh. I recommend this place!
