Local family owned and operated Kiosko right next to beautiful beach. This place is respected by locals for its fresh seafood. I sampled a few things shrimps and conch cocktails were good, Mofongo a bit too dry and too salty to my taste. I’ll probably come back and try few other things when I come to the beach there.
I like to support hard working black family owned friendly local businesses.
Additional Notes:
Open on weekends only.
Has own parking.
Serves beer & hard liquor.
This is the place to go for truly authentic Puerto Rican food. Super friendly people, super great food. The arepas and alcapurrias in particular were outstanding! Only thing to keep in mind is that portion sizes are a little small. We ordered four dishes for four people, but could have easily eaten 6 or more for the same size group. We paid $25 for four items, just for a price reference. Highly recommended!
Shack on the beach. Any other place in the US you would not stop but you must. Everything is made to order, the grab comes right from the backyard sea. The cod fritters with hot sauce are crisp and airy. The best hands down is the conch on fry bread. Almost like a ceviche flavor but very different and crazy tender
Great spot to eat frituras and PR's staple fried foods. There's outdoor space to sit, in the open or under open space with roof. Prepare to wait awhile because it's always full. Good prices and good food!! Love to go there!
