You will love it if you want to try local food & visit center of food that many local people of Nakhon Sri Thammarat will recommend you. Also this business supports students who want to work on school holidays too that is so nice.

Famous Kopitiam of Nakorn Sri.
The place is pretty, spacious and very well ventilated. The building is very ubique and should be historic. The old chino-european decor really has its own charm.
There is a parking lot next to the restaurant but in busy days, it is still quite challenging to find spot.
Dim sum was superb. I really love the shrimp shumai and their slightly spicy black vinegar sauce. The southern style pork soup or "buk gut teh" was also very flavorful. The combination of soup with the fried dough (yau-ja-guay) was out of this world.
From my point of view as a Thai tourist, the place is absolutely worth a visit...perhaps more than one visit lol...

one main reason for 1-star review is that this restaurant need to improve staff's service mind.
- I came here around 2 PM on weekdays which have only 1-2 guest aside from my table. However, the staffs are reluctantly service me which is took over my order, I have to walked to the counter and handed over my order to them. I mean there are plenty of them, more than 5, that are free and grouping, chatting and did not pay attention to the customers at all.
- The worst part is that, they're run out of what I ordered which is ฮะเก๋า in dimsum set including, and they did not inform us. Instead they served dumpling (ขนมจีบ) without any explanation. They also forgot deep-fried doughsticks set (ปาท่องโก๋) and I need to recall them, the food itself is so-so, too much oil-riched and not freshly fried, the sauces were served like takeaway food.
- The atmosphere was musty despite open-aired restaurant, not fresh at all. 😷
- the staff who served dimsum set kind of dropped the chopsticks to me harder than it should be 😟
Overall, not worth my time and money, I expect that the restaurant which local people enjoying it will welcome the tourists as well but cannot apply to this restaurant. One time is enough

Excellent , clean and lovely staffs. Variety of foods in the Menu, they have Thai style foods , Chinese style foods .Should try old style Thai coffee and tea . I like to eat Deep- fried dough stick with Thai custard , great combination. Stewed pork noodles is yummy.
Kopee is one of my favorite breakfast spot in Nakhon Si Thammarat. Each time I drop by this ancient city, I am sure to stop by to grab some food.
Most of their items are delicious (except maybe their toast bread which is very normal).
The recent trip I had their dry spicy curry with rice - super delicious super spicy though. Their bak kut teh is also delicious, so as their unique 5-flavor glutinous rice set.
Coffee is definitely a must in this old-style koptiam and even the way they make their coffee is so old school.
This restaurant is a local favorite. It is decorated in colonial style, it is an indoor and outdoor restaurant, without air-conditioning. There is plenty of parking.

mangosteen on sticks is the special key here. This fruit is usually eaten right and it is very sweet, however this delicacy is on a satay-stick and the fruit is not quite ripe yet so it is a little bit crunchy.
Great cafe, with old style decor. We dropped in for Kopi and sweet Bao. Their menu also includes some dim sum, bak kuh teh, roti, rice and noodle dishes. Would recommend a visit. Aircon and openair spaces, and plenty of parking.
