Glad to see a seafood option here in the heart of Mosaic. My wife and I came here on a bustling Friday night, we were kindly greeted at the front door and was notified of a brief wait as they were clearing up some tables. As we were seated we were warmly welcomed and were given a brief description of some of the popular items on the menu. We ordered the garlic noodles and wings for starters. The noodles were amazing, perfect balance of garlic and cheese. Highly recommend. The wings came out covered in their sauce but were still crunchy, really delicious. Sweet and savory with some kick. They also have the raw Korean crabs which we didn’t try but def will next visit. For our entree we did 1 pound of shrimp and 1 pound of crabs in their signature trill sauce. It was sweet and savory with an amazing garlic flavor. The staff came and checked on us frequently which was awesome as they had a full house. We had a great time and definitely will be back. It was also cool to see their bar section with TVs showing some of the college football games. Things on the menu I want to return to try, the raw crabs, gumbo, and their chowder. I saw a few others have it on their table and it looked delicious so adding that to my must try on my return.

Came here for dinner last night. This place has a nice bar and chill environment. My family and I ordered fried deviled eggs, garlic noodles, gumbo, blue crab and sea pho. Everything tasted amazing. The trill sauce was good with the crab and we also mixed some with our garlic noodle which was such a great combo.

Gumbo
I had high hopes for this place. I tried to visit on November 1st, but there was a sign on the door saying they were closed. I should not have bothered coming back. I had a bowl of gumbo, double fried wings, and the shaky beef. The gumbo was good, but the shaky beef was served cold like it wasn't made fresh. The wings were double fried but came out lukewarm. There wasn't even any steam coming from the chicken when I bit into the wing. My server had waited for the gumbo to finish cooking, allowing my other two dishes to get cold. 🥶 I was never asked if I wanted all the food to come out all at once. My server took the wings off the bill, but it was an overall disappointing experience. 😞

Unlike other similar seafood restaurants that bring the food in a plastic bag, this one came on a large pan with lots of sauce. Fresh and tasty. I wish they would allow combining 1/2 lbs of seafood. Friendly service.

Kreole Seafood is one of those places you want to take all your friends and family. The food is delicious, the drinks are fun and you will almost certainly have a good time. Reservations are recommended. Restaurant tends to get very busy from 6pm until close. It is not a very large restaurant. A small bar area in the front and the open kitchen in the back. The concept is fun Korean food with a Cajun fusion or Cajun food with a Korean fusion either way everything came out hot and well prepared. A few favorites had to be 1. the gumbo which had more of a curry base not the traditional roux. This gave the soup a richness and beautiful amber color, and 2. the garlic noodles. The noodles were true al dente and the garlic and parmesan stuck to them perfectly. You are served a poached egg on the side to mix into the noodles which gives it a smooth creamy coating almost like a carbonara. The only miss here is the egg white doesn't break down so you have chucks of it throughout the dish. The No GPS is a fun take on an old fashioned and the blackberry in Nacho average mule gave it a beautiful color and sweet taste sadly this meant you didn't get any ginger flavor from the ginger beer. They do offer 3 pot options if you don't want to create your own, the Seafood Diet is $160 and come with a whole lobster. The Cajun Fire sauce was so good on the seafood and the hot option had a wonderful spicy burn. A fail for us was the ramen noodles that you're served on top. They had no flavor and no amount of soaking in the sauce helped. Some dishes that missed the mark had to be the Fire shrimp and the wings. The shrimp are hard fried, boarding on overcooked and the wings were nowhere near as flavorful as some of the other items. Overall I can see why this is a neighborhood favorite and would definitely go back again to get the noodles and a whole bowl of that gumbo!

This was my first time here and I thought the food was great! A friend and I came for appetizers and drinks— we got the fried deviled eggs, Korean wings, and garlic noodles. Flavor was so good, the wings were crispy, and drinks were strong (in a good way). They had a $7 margarita deal which was recommended by our server Alexis. She was so sweet and accommodating and very attentive to us. We’ll be coming back!

Good but a little different than I expected. Having lived in Houston where Viet- Cajun is more popular I’d say it was a close third. Had the happy hour special two crab clusters with Cajun fire sauce more so reminded me of Ethiopian Doro wat dish. So the combination of crab and doro wat was an unexpected treat! I’d revisit just to have that clash of flavor, I think they’d be onto a new flavor mix indicative of the DMV VIET-hiopian. Could’ve used some injera 😅
