One of the "must try” in Kalmar. Perfect cooked Kroppkakan. Friendly staffs, cozy and nice.

They serve only one thing, and it's great! The Swedish Kroppkaka, with the right ingredients and tastes like the ones that my grandma used to make when I was a kid. She was born and raised in Blekinge and made a similar kind. They also have a vegetarian option with Vegofärs instead of pork, but you have to pre order it a day before, so that when they start cooking at 05:30 they know how many they should make. On a busy day they had made 700 standard kroppkakor whereas 200 were pre booked. They ran out around 14:00 and had to start making more. Which takes around an hour from scratch. So if you want to be sure to get this food, come early or pre book!
