Ignore the noise. This location is very clean and the food is fresh. Our food was made to order and could not have been any better. The restaurant hosts were friendly. We always stop here on our Baltimore to Jacksonville road trips. Pro tip: the CHIK is now a much larger sandwich. Came through and got lunch and this location is beyond nasty. The burgers were dry and appeared to have sat there for hours. When I took them back to the counter to get them freshly made because yuck... the woman just looked at me and said well they are going to have onions on them we scrap them off. Really. A bit slow even though not a lot if customers, seemed to have minimal staff. Staff were very professional, courteous and helpful. Building outside and in surrounding area had hundreds of birds flicking around it. 9:50 pm. Pull up to the drive through. I hear, "Closed." Drive away. That's been my experience 3 times now. I give up. I get it, you have slow service, your food isn't great, so you're not busy. But if you keep closing early and turning away the few customers you have left, you might as well just stay closed or at least change your hours of operation so you don't continue to disappoint. As far as I can tell this is the last Krystal going North on interstate 95. We decided to do a quick stop, since it would be our last chance to hit one up, until we travel south again. Couldn't go into the location, it was locked down like Ft. Knox, they were only open for drive thru. Service was fairly quick, took a little bit for the cashier and myself to figure out what each other were saying. I would tell her what I wanted, she would say you want a pick 5, I would say we'll we want some chics, Can't get those with the pick 5, so I would ok, 2 chics.. then she'd do the pick 5 again.. took me a few minutes to convince her to stop offering me it then, lol. Wife wanted a milkshake but they said the machine didn't work. Food was good, no issues. I've been to a few Krystals and the food is on par with other locations. The building, on the other hand is in serious disrepair and in need of a deep cleaning. Ceiling tiles are stained and ready to fall. The staff was pleasant and the service was average. Usually there is a terrific fast and friendly crew but these past two times they have been RUDE, distracted by ?? And the first time they made me pull in lot and wait along with 3 cars there already then brought out only half my order about 20min later brought the other half it still wasn’t right I drove back to the drive window and was immediately told to move and wait in lot and I refused bc they knew and saw all my order and she finally allowed him to give me the missing drink. Place is nasty, staff rude. Girl waiting on me would not stop TicToc on her phone long enough to get order correct. Don’t take cash. Sign on door, credit debit only. Food nasty, chicken sandwich so over cooked it was inedible. Half a box of fries. Bacon cheese burger had one slice of bacon divided between 3 burgers. Save your money, go somewhere else.
