Special place. Also a curio and local product shop. Every town need a place like this. Waiters need to be trained to tend more often to the clients outside. Beautiful wood furniture. Lovely place in the southern part of Livingston. They have cake and coffee, but also serve full lunch or dinner. There is a nice kids playground, and books to read or buy 2nd hand. The menu looks perfect. I guess there has the real chief team before. The service is very slow. You could see how slow is the waiter’s movement. One hour waiting time. Coffee is ok. Food is so bad. I ordered the pork ribs. It’s very fat and can’t cut by the knife at all. I really don’t want to broken my teeth. The pizza is raw and no flavor. The chocolate cake is made of margarine, unhealthy and bad taste. The price you selling is definitely deserves real butter or real cream. Such a pity.

Really, really good food in a nice environment. I’m only sorry we didn’t try it until our last full day as I would have happily eaten many more meals here. So much better than Zambezi cafe, Zest, and the horrible Italian restaurant. Also, the fans made sure there were no annoying black flies! We have been In livingston for a few days and went for coffee and something sweet. The atmosphere of the outside seating area brings you back to colonial times...the tin roof, the set up and style of the tables and chairs....even the magazines (Erich are from the 90's ). The cake , we had apple crumble the first and brandy bread pudding the second day, are reminding about British cuisine. To sum it all up a MUST if you are in livingston! A little oasis away from the hustle of the street with great coffee and cake. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
