A pleasant bar with a decent selection of drinks in central Gothenburg. Kungstorgets Brygghus is spacious so it can be a good place for a large group of friends and/or work colleagues. We didn’t order food when we visited but they had a good selection of typical Swedish food on their menu. In terms of the drinks that we did order (local beers on tap), they were as expected. The atmosphere was pretty good too, generally speaking, it helps that whoever put together their playlist had great taste in music (at least when we visited). Though in terms of atmosphere, the back of the bar was a bit lacking. One other plus for us was how they allow dogs in their bar. Overall, I would recommend Kungstorgets Brygghus in Gothenburg. Nice place for a beer, 20 draft beers on tap with a variety of flavours/ strengths. Had wine too and spirits but mixers were tonic or sprite only, so a few more soft drink option would have been good. Food was nice, meatballs came with delicious potato mash and cream sauce (was a bit cold) but chips were good too. Best thing was mushroom toast. Was a busy place in good location.

In my mind the best bar for casual drinks in gothenburg. There is a very wide range of beers and the taps change frequently, all with very reasonable prices. I recommend diving deep into the fridges for some real good stuff. The bar staff are beautiful and deserve lots of love and eggs. I have never tried the food as my visits happen late at night but I have it on good authority it be good. Price per person kr 100–200 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was good. The shrimp rye bread really good and the Caesar salad mediocre. Service was somewhat untrained and cleared every plate or glass as soon as it was empty. The atmosphere was a bit bar like and not super clean. But it works and it has good space and plenty of beers to choose from. Also, food came fast

Cute little spot that had delicious food & great drinks. They were very kind with the substitutions we asked to make for our kids food. Can’t wait to try it again. The staff was super friendly too.

Good beer, a bit disappointing food. The Skagen Toast was very small and the Plocktallrik I ordered was a bit lacking. The olives were just plain normal black olives, nothing fancy about it
