Kupel's Bakery, renowned for its Kosher delights, offered a bittersweet experience. Their Bellevue Lox Bagel Sandwich was a hearty offering that shone through, although it wasn't without its minor missteps.
The Everything bagel, while boasting the signature rich flavors and a lovely hint of garlic and onion, was thicker than preferred. This characteristic made it somewhat difficult to savor all the ingredients in one harmonious bite. However, the smoked salmon was a pleasant surprise – the generous portion of smoked salmon added substantial value and appeal.
Contrarily, the bakery department fell short of expectations. Despite visiting in the early morning hours, the pastries were disappointingly tough in texture. As a newcomer to Kosher pastries, this wasn't the initiation I had hoped for, but the Poppyseed Bear Claw still proved interesting in composition and texture.
Overall, Kupel’s shines in bagel sandwiches, particularly the smoked salmon variant. However, if you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth with fresh and fluffy pastries, you might want to explore elsewhere.
We ordered catering for two events we did back to back today. Everything was fresh, beautifully arranged and prepared. It took us 5 minutes to lay out food at our events and everyone loved the food. The bagels and muffins were right out of the oven, the coffee was hot and the fruit plate super fresh.
Thank you so much!

My favorite neighborhood bagels, we pick up bagel sandwiches on the weekends all the time. Fast service, easy pickup, fresh made daily. Love their lox, egg salad and tuna salad, and all their spreads. They use fresh crispy veggies. Also love their cookies and pastries. Quality fresh coffee.

Pronounced as couples bakery, it's nice, they give bagels loaded in cream cheese, can't eat that much cream cheese myself.
Got tomato basil bagel, tastes like an ordinary bagel and quite over priced.
Giving 5 stars to the cream cheese ( onion chive) tastes fresher than what you get at trader Joe's
The first time I bought from here it was actually lovely. The second time I bought from here ( 2 days ago) I bought a half moon cookie and a chocolate chip cookie and both tasted undeniably like mold. It was absolutely foul. I had to put both of them in the trash immediately. I’m assuming they either used expired flour or leave the pastries out for too long. Just wanted to warn other customers and the establishment because that could make someone very sick.
Kuples gets the job done. It’s a classic in the area, hosting a large selection of bagels and baked goods. They have creative sandwiches, each named after an iconic boston location. Very good vibes!

Thank god for this place. After several years of chowing down passable chain-store bagels, I stumbled across this spot, and it's now my go-to. Bread quality is good enough that they still taste good after being frozen and thawed weeks later. Their black and white cookies are pretty tasty too.
Didn't know it was a kosher place. I just walked in to get some quick breakfast. I got the Beaconsfield bagel sandwich and it was pretty good. I tried their pastries too and they're good as well
