Came here with my father in law. Although the food is was a little pricey. The outstanding service from Julian and the freshness of the food made up for it. Highly recommend La Barkita. Good food. Had Empanadilla and Mofongo, both shrimp. Service good. Sat outside. No beach view from here even though some Google maps show it. Casual dining. Shaded outside tables and inside tables. Bar area has air conditioning. The rest is fans. Thought Mofongo a bit expensive, but the shrimp were perfectly cooked Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Next to the beach, great service, sea food so fresh great flavor. My passion fruit mojito was the best so refreshing and chunks of fruit. So Ricooo

Muy rico el sabor. Facilito de llegar. Great flavor. Easy to find. Bathrooms outside. That part I didn’t like but the rest it’s fine.

Lovely food - the best I tasted in Salinas. Reasonably priced. Comparatively bigger portions. Spanish and English speaking service staff. Attentive and warm service. The Mixed Seafood soup with fried sweet plantain on the side was amazing. The hot spicy vinegar (ask for hot sauce) made it even better. Can be easily shared between two or three. Fried Pork with Salad and French fries was equally good and flavorful. The fries were exceptional.

Their food is always so fresh and flavorful! I love the ceviche and I can't wait to try one of their mojitos. The staff is attentive and so sweet, almost feels like old friends taking care of you.
