This is one of my favorite cafes! The owner is so kind and the croissants amazing. I love their breakfast sandwiches and iced mocha :) There's always a pleasant and calm atmosphere when I come in. Sad to give this review. 30 years ago it was soooo much better. The coffee shop of my teen years. They need to clean the espresso machine and teach the man behind the counter how to use it. Burnt taste cappuccino, switched to a mocha and it was garbage too. Should have gotten a refund. Over cooked egg sandwich with a kraft slice 🤢

The owner is both an amazing baker and warm hearted person. He takes the time and care to give each individual person his time, attention, and his food leaves the impression of a home cooked meal done by a professional. The location is a nice change of scenery from most places in this area and I recommend you stop in, get a breakfast sandwhich , and take a stroll around the fountains.

Food was good. Disappointed that there were no pastries in the case at noon on a Sunday. However, I found a piece of broken glass/plastic in my hot chocolate on Nov 14. No kidding, I thought that only happened on TV. How that happened I have no clue, but I will not be returning due to lack of safety oversight. Thankfully I left the lid on while drinking, otherwise I could have swallowed it! 😝

So thankful that La Boulangerie survived COVID 19. My husband and I stopped in on our way to visit family in Seattle. The owner was wonderful in spite of the challenges of COVID. We were so touched that he didn't bake goods except on special order. Clearly he was committed to his business and his customers. Will have to drive back up from San Diego to taste his baked goods. It's a cute little place! My party all got croissant sandwiches and were pretty happy with them (though I got avocado and it seemed a little underripe). Service was also a bit slow so maybe not a great spot if you are looking to get in and out fast.

A delightful café, with an assortment of coffees, drinks and specialty items, fresh, baked croissants, breakfast sandwiches, and an excellent lunch array of sandwiches, gyros, and soups. Reasonable prices and friendly, attentive, local owners. There is even a meeting room available for rent.
