1st time visit here. Excellent Mexican restaurant. Great portions and our service was good too. The chips are thick, and warm. I got chile rellenos and was a little disappointed in the way they were cooked, but they still were tasty. Beans and rice are excellent. Went to the new location after work on a Saturday evening. My wife and I were sat right away. The service was great and attentive. The dining room seems a bit small but seems to fit plenty of patrons. The bar is bright and colorful and the overall atmosphere is great. The food came out hot. Maybe a bit too hot as I got the fajitas and the skillet ended up burning the onion and pepper mix. My wife got the carne asada and this was pretty flavorful. Location is great. Every time I come to Casper this is one of my favorite places. Great fried tacos. This time we decided to try the new place on Centennial Ave. 4 chicken fried tacos looked like this. Very very disappointed in quality of food and quantity. Little to no fillings inside taco and it was very soggy versus nice and crisp. The other location off I25 always served loaded and crisp deep fried tacos that our family loved. Hopefully they improve because the new location is very nice. The service was horrible, everyone was just walking around like they were lost. The street tacos were over seasoned that I could not finish it, and the seasoning was horrible. Husband had the Chile fries and it tasted like the sauce came from a can and they was hardly any meat in it. I think the concept of this place was to sell bad Mexican food at a high price and see if people come back. I, for one, will not be going back. I had the #1 combo. It comes with 1 fried taco, 1 enchilada, rice, and beans. The cheese enchilada was mediocre at best. It was greasy and didn't have a lot of cheese in it. The beef in the fried taco had zero flavor. It tasted like the just browned cheap beef. Save your money and go to the smaller Mexican restaurants in the area. Good authentic Mexican food that is not too authentic. Nice spicy options. Beer available. Free chips and salsa and optional guacamole and bean dip. Very busy at lunchtime, especially Friday. Open at 11am be early. New building is nice, but the chairs are not very comfortable 😕 and with the open ceiling it is very noisy. The new chip warmer is burning 🔥 the chips. FOOD as always very good but however twice now when I and my family of 4 came in all 4 meals came out to the table at a different time. Today two of us came in, ordered and our meals came out at a completely different times. My husband's came out and mine was 20 minutes later.The waitress did not even realize mine was not delivered. He as almost done eating before I received my meal. I do not like going to eat as a couple and eating separately. Sorry Jim but your staff and service needs IMPROVEMENT, alot.
