Very tasty pupusas! I ordered chicken and cheese, which were fresh and delicious. Spacious diner atmosphere, family friendly place. The server didn't speak English, so my order was wrong. I got an extra pupusa - not such a bad mistake! I think the sauce could have a little more flavor. It was a bit watery compared to others I have had. We'll be back! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

In a sea on fancy, overpriced downtown hair salons, law offices, and bougee restaurants, La Esperanza is a beacon of hope for someone craving some Latino food!! The price point works for a quick lunch. I ordered delivery and I was happy that they wrapped the plate with foil so it didn’t get all soggy once you add the slaw. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is lovely. It smells wonderful, clean and light mixed with delicious food. I love the papusas, of course. But the crunch and perfectly mild spice of the empanada accompanied by the tangy sweet Jimaca juice made my evening. The food is good, but they charge for everything you have to pay for the togo container, if you pay on cash they still charge for clover processing ehat?? If i pay with credit car is ok the charge for that. But really with cash too?? Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Giving this place 3 stars for the pupusas only... We ordered a Gallina soup, a sopa de res and two pupusas. The soups didn't have enough seasoning and vegetables. I asked for hot sauce, tapatío, Valentina and they only have a habanero sauce. The table next to us asked the cashier/waitress if the pupusa sauce was hot and she just turned around and left. This same girl has help me other times that I've been here and she is either rude or she doesn't speak Spanish or English pretty well. In total this is me fourth time here and I can only recommend the pupusas even tho the sauce and curtido are not even close to pupusas sauce. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30

Las pupusas son ricas lo único el resto no el otro día pedí chicharrón con yucas 👎🏻👎🏻 fue malísimo todo seco y duro, De ves en cuando pido por online pero ahora ya sacaron del menú las que me gustan Food: 3

I loved the food, it was very tasty. The only negative thing is the servers are rude and horrible customer service. Other than that all I ordered was a 10/10. Next time I will just order take out.

First time here. Had the bean and cheese pupusa. Getting one was just a mistake. Will definitely be back. Their condiments are lacking a bit of seasoning, i.e pupusa sauce, pickles, etc The tortilla was so fresh and so good. Yummm! Will be back for more pupusas!
