The service was excellent from beginning to the end, and the frendly smiles. The food was amazing. Excellent location on the heart of the city. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The music did not make any sense. When on el dia de muertos and had English pop music. Was was cold when it came to the table. Chicken was dry. Tanpiqueña had a muchy strange bite. Would not recommend. The best thing they offer are the fresh tortillas. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $200–300 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
Very good food, for me... But my wife did not like her enchiladas. Otherwise we'd have given a 5 star rating. The singer on the Friday night that we ate there was remarkable and memorable. The service is very good, but... I don't like it when someone begs for a tip because they "have a sick family member." That actually reduces your tip. Just provide good service. That's all. Everyone has problems, and you don't know mine because I didn't tell you. Overall, great food, hard working staff and chefs, good atmosphere. Thumbs up! Edit: not concerning the restaurant at all, but be careful outside on the sidewalk! Right in front of the restaurant, a 75 year old woman, accompanied by what appeared to be her son and 10 year old grandson were working as a team, while the old woman was working as a pickpocket. She tried to lift my wallet, even going underneath my shirt to check for a wallet in my back behind my belt, and somehow checking my back pockets (which were empty) before pulling her hand back very quickly to try to avoid being seen. But the police looked it up on the cameras and she will be arrested the next complaint she causes. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $300–400
It was raining and it was highly recommended, so we gave it a try. Atmosphere was pretty nice, music on tv a a decent volume. Service was slow. We had the Pollo querendona, a creation of house, not bad but also not spectacular. The Enchiladas morelianas with cecina were really bland, just mediocre. We don't really understand all thr rave reviews for the food. Probably should have gotten a hot chocolate and churros. The food came out of the kitchen so fast that it must have been sitting there fpr quite some time. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $200–300 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Great food. The skirt steak was soft, juicy and delicious. We had guacamole and chips. Both green and red salsas were great. We also had the molcajete which had shrimp, chicken, steak and shrimp. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–100

Very nice restaurant, cozy seating delicious meals
The food was good here however the service is absolutely TERRIBLE. I ordered a beer and it took forever for them to give it to me. The food did come out fairly fast. I’ll give them that but after they give you your food they don’t come back. I paid with a 500 they gave me my change in a bunch of $5 peso coins. And when I left A waiter came out quickly and asked if I had paid…… DONT COME HERE. And to top it off children keep coming in trying to sell you things
Great location. Fair prices and they count with more than only amazing food with authentic taste. The decoration has great taste. They also sell handcrafted cups that look amazing. In the past also the paintings in the wall had price tags and with some luck if the manager is around you could ask if they still sell them. The only thing that is missing is parking. But that's a common problem of all old colonial cities that were designed way before cars were on paper.
This place was really good. This time I went there and my surprise was that I ordered an Enchiladas Morelianas and they were cold and dry. Also I asked for a semisweet hot chocolate and this was extra sweet and the flavor was similar to chocolate abuelita. For this I had to wait very long time. The waiter was good I mean he was attending many tables at the same time he was doing his best. The owner should hired more people and make sure the food is served as it was ordained. For the price I expected more. Before we used to go to this place every time we were in Morelia for vacation. This time was our last visit to this place. We are going to take our business to another place. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
