This is one of my top choices for Sheridan. They have the basics one would expect but also regionally inspired, not white washed, amazing dishes. Heradurra chicken is delicious. The service is always friendly and solid. Fabulous family restaurant and a welcome staple in the community. There is no Mexican in this town that touches this place. Good Mexican food in an unassuming building. Dinner started with the obligatory chips and salsa (1 hot and 1 mild), both very good. For our entrees, we ordered the Tortilla Soup which was delicious (tipped with tortilla strips which I would have preferred on the side as I removed them) and the enchilada plate. Both are entrees we can recommend. The soup was a huge serving and plenty for another meal at home. Service was fair. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

When we Texans travel and find Mexican food that tastes like we never left Texas, we celebrate and write a great review!! La Herradura in Sheridan Wyoming has very good food. Flavored well and cooked to perfection. I had the shrimp fajitas and the shrimp were large and cooked to perfection. We got Carnitas de reys both pork and beef Colorado burrito. All good, plenty to split for two and we would come here again. We sat outside on the open patio. A very nice, friendly establishment with very well prepared dishes and a lot of options! Gotta love the giant margaritas and reasonably priced dishes. Large chunks of pork with a tasty green chili sauce. It's one of the Best I've ever had, being from Oklahoma city! The complimentary salsa and warm chips are EXCELLENT!!

Great food in a small place. It looks small from the outside, but you will get a huge plate of delicious food. I thought I knew what I wanted, but my waiter recommended something he thought I would like better, and he was absolutely right. Give it a shot, and you won't be disappointed.
