The overall service was great. Our server was very attentive, brought us salsa that wasn’t spicy for our daughter which I really liked. The food came out rather quick which kind of surprised me for a Mexican restaurant. The plating looked okay but when it came down to the flavor, it was lacking. The dish had way too much cheese which just kind of over whelmed the other flavors. I don’t want to go to much into detail in regards to the food I may give this place another chance and order something different. Love you guys, visit or get delivered a few times a month— Watch the pricing, everyone gets it that cost of goods has gone up, BUT $4.95 For Soda is out of control. I used to eat here at least once a month.. for about 2 years. About 1 1/2 uears ago something changed and since then the quality of food has suffered.. My last 4 visits, I didnt even finish my meal,, something was just off about the food every time.. I used to recommend this place,, but lately,, I have been telling people to stay away.. They recently updated the menu,, and most everything I normally ordered is now $20 a plate.. And I seriously paid $4 for a basic Iced tea,, and wasn't even offered a refill.. Time to find a new go to Mexican food place.. Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

The food is not bad, overall pretty good. At times, it is as if the servers are too busy chatting to wait on customers. Especially when it is not a busy day / time. Have been there a few times for the food. But having to wait or flag down someone who keeps walking by without acknowledging, is not very good customer service. If the staff are too busy chatting amongst themselves, and no time to wait on customers, the tip should reflect that. Some visits are good, some not so good. Definitely the place to go if you want a great Mexican meal. Good sized portions of delicious food. The service was fast and accurate. And a free dessert. All at a decent price. Apparently a late night staple for Pacific University students as it’s one of the very few places in town that’s opened late. Prices range from $3 tacos to $18-$20 dinner plates like the sizzling fajita with steak. But what I learned is the main attraction is their “jungle juice” that comes in this nice urn looking jug. I was told it used to come in a pitcher, but for $10, it’ll definitely get you going for whatever pregame party you’re headed to in town or for a frat house. It's not bad. They have a large menu to choose from. And their prices were fair. The proteins were done well, and the sides were good. Other than the rice; which was clearly a few days old. I'll probably be back at some point; but, there's alot of good Mexican food options around, nothing here was a stand out. Like I said, it wasn't bad. If I were you I would order your food to go. Just bought an asada salad and two asada tacos from here ($20 meal). When I got home and opened it, what a joke. Not only is this just a pile of wet lettuce with the most minimal amount of asada, there was nothing else that actually makes this a taco salad. This place has 💯 lost any chance of us returning for any reason. Save yourself a nasty experience and go right down the street to La Estrella. Not only was it cheaper, it was an actual well put together salad (corn, guacamole, sour cream, etc). This place should feel embarrassed they served this, especially at the price.
