The food was very yummy and 清淡. Would recommend the mountain boar, bamboo shoots, local green veggie, and orange blossom soup. The fish is a little overpriced ($800).
As others have mentioned, it’s quite sketchy that they don’t have a menu—this could also be due to them having limited portions of certain dishes.
TLDR ASK ABOUT PRICES FIRST!!!
Was able to eat some gluten free dishes by asking the staff. Had to explain what is gluten, but it looks like they understand.

Nice fried dishes with features both from the mountains and the ocean. Personally I love the fish and the shell. They also have some hidden dishes that are in only sold to the vip ( which is not us lol) and you’ll have to discover yourselves. Worth going definitely, you won’t regret.
Avoid at all cost until last resort.
As soon as we stepped in, the staff wasn't welcoming at all. They don't have a menu, which is fine if they could at least give a good and precise recommendation.
Ordered octopus with veg and a plate of mountain pork. Taste was alright nothing bad but nothing to boast about as well.
Price is generally standard pricing but I wouldn't pay for such quality.
Delicious seafood, but come early otherwise they run out of food.

There is a small English menu and the owner will stop you from ordering too much food haha she wasn’t friendly until she saw our 4 year old eat pork with chopsticks, then she kept smiling at least.
Food was good, our favorite was the bamboo shoots with meat sauce - so delicious! The greens were ok, lots of yummy garlic. Wish I could try/order more dishes.
Recommended by "Crossing the Rainbow Bridge" B & B. Food was outstanding, service was great, they don't speak English but had an English menu which was great for us. Place was full of locals, usually a sign the food is good, and we were not disappointed. The meals are not back street Taipei prices, but the quality of the food is not the same either. I don't mind paying a bit more for tasty, good quality, fresh food. Easy parking, easy to find.
This is a great example of never judging a book by its cover. On the outside, this looks like a nondescript Chinese restaurant, but damn was it tasty and well-executed. We cleaned every plate to the bone in less than 20 minutes - highly recommended!
We were allowed to bring our own beer and wine in without corkage - another plus after a long hike!
