Been very eager to have lunch at Landlubbers Grill & Dairy Bar, Rt. 150, S. Main St., Athens. Today I had the Lobster Roll Basket and it was marvelous. Lots of 🦞🦞🦞🦞 🦞 meat! Freshly fried onion rings and cole slaw completed this meal. I was going to stop there, but the beard whispered...Strawberry Shortcake! The strawberries were plentiful, warm biscuit and whipped cream, yum. The prices were so reasonable. Landlubbers has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It is handicapped accessible and has a rest room. Unique interior decor! Very friendly, well kept up, clean and roomy. Thank you all! 👍 🙏 😋

The food here is great, the people are kind, and the portions are large. The french fries are some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’m not usually a fan of whoopie pies but theirs are soooo good. I tried the peanut butter, and the cookies and cream and they were both a 10/10.

We rode here from bingham on the atvs, stopped for lunch and they absolutely did not disappoint. The staff were tremendously friendly, food was seriously so delicious, they had the best homemade desserts from giant brownies and whoopies to the absolute most delicious cake. I had the corn chowder in a bread bowl which was so creamy and perfect tasting, kids had grilled cheese and chicken tenders with fries which were all freshly made with homemade bread for the grilled cheese. Steak and cheese for my significant other and he said was the best he's had. Overall very very pleased with the service and food and will definitely be back!

Amazingly reasonable prices! Fantastic friendly service and staff! Delicious food! We got the steak and cheese basket and cheeseburger sub basket with a tasty-topped hot fudge sundae. You definitely get the bang for your buck! Wasn't busy at the time dined in so the whole experience was great! 5 stars worth it

We met a friend here and we're thankful for outdoor seating with our dog. A waiter asked if she could have a treat and I said yes thinking it was a biscuit. He brought out soft-serve with two biscuits!!! So nice, I've never had that happen at a restaurant. I had the haddock sandwich which was great and fried mushrooms, also yummy with good sauce. My husband had the lobster roll which was tasty, I got to try a bite. We both ordered small ice creams that we couldn't finish. Very close to the south Solon Meetinghouse which we went to after lunch. Would definitely go back if in the area.
Such a warm welcome to Maine and an awesome place to stop for food. The service was extremely friendly and fast too.
