I had tasted the other popular one but personally prefer this . The noodle is much thicker here but the soup is not as salty as the other restaurant. Atmosphere and restaurant cleanliness is much better which I get to enjoy my bowl of noodle. Remember to order the famous cold red tea !!! Cheap & decent meal, the homemade chilli sauce makes everything tastier! Highly recommend to bring one home with you if you’re a Chilli lover. It’s fragrant & spicy. NTD 150 per bottle. Flying fish roe surprisingly good. Would like to try their braised dish platter next time. Sharing the traditional way of eating the noodle soup ( according to the poster on the wall) : Use only the traditional spoon to cut the noodles into smaller pieces. Smash the braised egg yolk into the soup. Add in black vinegar & homemade chilli sauce. Enjoy! :) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–200

Well, this is the second time that we missed the famous “Thick rice noodle under the Banyan tree”. First time was due to it was close, but this time was because the waiting line is way too long. Thus we came here instead. Actually, both dried and soup Thick rice noodles were delicious with reasonable price. Well, hopefully, one day I’ll get to try it in “Thick rice noodle under the Banyan tree”. To find out the difference. The restaurant is clean, comfortable with nice waitresses. So please come over here if you don’t want to wait fir the long line.

Love the pickled cucumbers, the tofu side was delectable, the garlic sauce white pork meat was super tender. Don’t forget to dress those noods with their powerful hot sauce and some black vinegar . A good place for large groups , doesn’t get as crazy as Rong Shu down the street
