Good food, great staff at this new South Boston restaurant. --- So I have to say that the food remains "exotic" and the portions small. For someone who craves regular food in larger quantities, it is an unfortunate downgrade from Shenanigans. Great spot! Some of the highlights for us were the nachos (spread out wide vs. deep so every chip has toppings) and the “tater tots” that are actually fried mashed potatoes with cheese. The Cajun chicken rigatoni was also delicious and decadent. Finally, the margarita with house infused Thai chili tequila was a perfect spicy and refreshing balance. We went on a nacho tour of Boston, and this place won hands down. Laylas nachos have the best cheese and unique toppings like pickled onions. We rated laylas a 9/10 only because there’s no such thing as a perfect nacho. Honestly can’t think of any way of improving this dish, it’s perfect. Additionally, our server Emily was so lovely and she loved hearing about our nacho tour. She made our dining experience wonderful. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is simply THE BEST. The best food, the best atmosphere, and most importantly the best people!! I come here religiously for the fried pickles (extra crispy) and in the short amount of time they have been opened I’ve made friends with most of the staff. They are incredible!
