The breakfast bagel sandwiches were great. Large bagels with plenty of filling. The bagels/seeds were slightly toasted (due to baking?). Pastrami was really good. Also bought a dozen bagels, and they are loaded with seeds/toppings. It's a small place with plenty of customers, so probably best to come during non-peak hours. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I first discovered Lefty's amazing bagels when they were only sold on weekends at a bakery co-op. The line would trail around the corner and sell out within an hour of opening. These are authentic New York style bagels that are kettle boiled and baked fresh every morning. Now that they have their own storefront the Lefty's experience has only gotten better! With a full breakfast and lunch menu including fresh sliced deli meats, eggs, and smoked fish! The unique sandwich choices are fabulous! There is also choices to take home bagels and schmear for Lefty's at your leisure. Just to top off the awesome new locally owned family business, the owner Scott is an absolute treat and is always wearing a contagious smile. Can't wait to share this awesome find with family and friends! Order ahead for takeout, dine in, or delivery with doordash. Ample parking, easy on and off Olive with a light to help with left turns.

Stopped in for lunch for the first time before traveling back home and so glad I did!! Absolutely delicious and fresh! Grabbed the turkey BLT ! So filling! Can’t wait to come back! 🥯🥯🥯🥯🥯

A bit busy on a Sunday morning but worth the wait. The crispy outside was perfection. It's hard to find a bagel with that right amount of toasty-ness. I've baked my own bagels, bought and eaten a lot of bagels and these are by far the best I've had. The cream cheese was also the perfect amount, so many bagel places put on so much cream cheese, but not here. My only regret was not getting more, I thought I got 2 days worth, I didn't anticipate them tasting so good that we ate day 2s bagels on day 1 😄😄😄 Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes A Bagel

NJ/NY Native. While they look good they do not compare to the bagels of the now closed bagel only store on Olive. The dough is way too light and airy. NY bagels are more dense and chewy - these have too much air to be considered a NY water bagel. Honestly they are close to the bagels sold at Schucks not the former Bagel Factory which came as close to NY bagels. Tried it twice and my feeling on both visits has been the same. These bagels were worth the wait! Understanding this is still a newer business, and wait time, sell-outs, limited selection may be a reality in the beginning. The bagels they're offering are fantastic. Best in the area since The Bagel Factory closed. Crisp on the outside, chewy interior and great flavor. Good selection even with just the basics. Can't wait to try the sandwiches and specialty flavors once they settle in!

Bagels done correctly! Made in the NY way. They have a. Open view kitchen and you can see them boiling the dough before they are baked. They have just the right amount of texture on the outside with a good soft center. I came in early about seven a m and they did not have decaf Coffee brewed yet..The person gladly and quickly made a pot.

This was my first time at Lefty's and I was not disappointed. My loxs and bagels were one of the most delicious sandwiches I have had in years. The staff here is so helpful that they go above and beyond the definition of the job. Leftys also has a very expensive menu that I am going to go back and try a couple of new dishes. Everything was wrong with our order. Food was cold moments after it was bagged and handed to me. Drove 20 min each way - never again. “Poppyseed” bagel…no poppyseeds. Wrong cream cheese on the wrong bagel…butter on the wrong bagel…bagels were not toasted. $35 for 5 items, all of which were wrong. Very disappointing.
