We came here 2 times already. The seafood is excellent. Everything is fresh and delicious. First we had the octopus and grilled tuna, the second time red snapper and parrot fish. On both occasions I had one oyster(best ever). With the sangria you can’t miss on the entire island. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice setting facing the marina with an extensive seafood menu. We ordered the scabbard fish with banana and passion fruit, non alcoholic beer and a glass of sangria. Minus one star because the fish could have used more seasoning in the batter. The service was great. We enjoyed our lunch and the prices. . Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €15–20

Came here for our late lunch time in Calheta. Ordered seafood cataplana, served for 2 pax. Also order seabars fish which was somewhat fresh. Crab claws on the seafood cataplana was not today's catch,so not as fresh as the fish. Service is good. Omg, the fish with fried banana and passion fruit was unbelievable ❤️❤️❤️ Also was the waiter and the service. Btw, the garlic bread here was one of the best I’ve eaten at Madeira as well 😁 The restaurant is nicely placed close to the beach and the main road so the access is easy and the overall reception of the spot is great. We’ll recommend this place to everyone 🥰 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a wonderful dining experience at "Leme Marisqueira" in Calheta! We started with "Lapas," a Madeiran fish appetizer, followed by the delicious "Polvo à Lagareiro" and "Espetada de Lulas com camarão." Both dishes were incredibly fresh, well-seasoned, and divine! For dessert, we indulged in the "Romântica" ice cream and "Gelado de Leite creme." The restaurant owner and staff were very welcoming and professional, making us feel at home. In terms of quality and price, "Leme Marisqueira" surpasses many other restaurants in the Madeira region. It's conveniently located with paid parking nearby (just a few meters away) and is wheelchair accessible. We highly recommend it! Food and location are nice, but unfortunate our first waiter did not make us feel welcome :s he was pushing for an order to quickly and tried to upswell us quite obviously. Three stars also because the lobster cocktail was mostly mayo and salad, for the price just a little bit more lobster would have been great. That aside, the tuna steak was very well seasoned and the garlic bread was fantastic! Visited for dinner - the seafood platter was huge and pretty much all of it was excellent especially the fish (the clams were a little oily). There was a good atmosphere in the restaurant and service was fairly quick, if a little abrupt. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5

My husband and I ate lunch here yesterday. It was a most enjoyable experience. The service was extremely good and the food came out very quickly. We tried the scabbard with banana and passion fruit, not for us but that is just a personal thing it was perfectly cooked brought me back to chicken Maryland times so if that’s the sort of food you like you will love this. The clams and the squid however were superb. As was the wine recommendation. We will definitely return Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
