Food was good :) I only ordered a side of hash brown but i liked it better than many other restaurants’. The server was helpful and amicable. I felt like i was at a family member’s house :). They were also giving away cake because of a party their family had recently. It was soooooo good. Some of the best cake I’ve had :) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Que Rico- I had a bowl of love and my hubby had the combo plate. The menudo was delicious, tastes home made, will remember this place next time I'm in Fabens.

Menudo was great, it was the first time eating there. Was a little confused if we are supposed to order first at counter or if waitress was supposed to come to us....either way service could have been better. Lety's restaurant has been feeding me for the last few days; friendly service and hard working atmosphere make this restaurant my new favorite place. Breakfast specials from 3.99 come with the best pancakes I have had fluffy and dense at the same time the sweet buttermilk richness calls for little to no syrup.

Little slow on getting you your order, but the wait was well worth it. The shredded beef tacos we're the best I have had in a long time. They are worth the drive alone getting to Fabens.

Menudo was dry and tacos and Chile releno was bland. Do not recommend. Waitresses were very sweet and locals friendly. Don’t let all the bars on all the windows frighten you.

I got to say the Torta de Barbacoa was very good and the Tacos de Carne were also good. The reason I didn't give it 5, it took a little longer then usual.
