I was treated to a meal out during the 5pm early diners deal. The meals were tasty, the menu varied, the service delivered promptly from friendly, available waiting staff. I noticed out plates were clean at means end, so three generations were satisfied. The ambience is veering towards elegant inner city restaurant. I very much enjoyed the opportunity to dine out, and have made a plan to frequent Level One again, @ 5pm, if only to hit the dessert menu. Nice atmosphere. Some tablecloths wouldn't go astray as tables were chipped and a bit sticky. Tables felt underdressed amongst the otherwise upmarket decor. Ordered 2 steak meals: eye fillet wrapped in bacon was lovely. Medium rare (although my partner ordered medium) but I sat there wishing I had paid the $43 for that meal rather than the $42 scotch fillet. Asked for it to be med-rare. Got a medium. Horrible cut of steak. Restaurant happily took it back and returned a somewhat medium rare steak, but was still nasty cut and served with tasteless dry roast potatoes. Bit like a $12.99 special down at the local than a $42 meal in a nice restaurant. Word to the wise... if you don't approve of your meal, best not to say anything as felt staff were very disgruntled with us after that. Left as quickly as we could. Absolutely amazing service from the staff, beautiful venue lovely food steak 🥩 was Divine and very well priced. The dessert was amazing will definitely be back ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Brilliant place to get a meal! Absolutely amazing dinner menu, I had the salmon and it was superb. The staff were all lovely and hospitable and made the night very easy on us (group of 9 people). Was hoping that based on the recommendation from a friend this place would be worthwhile. Very disappointed in there "happy hour" menu more like sad hour.Such a well know restaurant with a predictable menu. Expensive for what it is and food doesn't really worth. Note: Half star. Google review doesn't provide that functionality so have to note here. Thank You.

Came here with my colleagues on Friday night 3/3/23. The drinks were lovely however the two bar staff didn't seem very happy. Just wanting to order some food was an inconvenience to them even tho it was very quiet. One of them kept steering at us and then when we were talking still nibbling on our food only half eaten one of them came over and asked if we wanted our plates taken away. Much different experience from when we came here in September for after work drinks.
