First impression was very clean, small and quaint, about 6-8 tables. The booths had adorable over stuffed chinese characters to dine with. We were given menus with a bowl of peanuts, which were enjoyable to munch on while looking over the extensive menu. We ordered the Chicken Wonton Soup. The broth was delicious, and the wonton wrapper was like rice paper, very thin and pleasant, not a typical thick wrap that hides the flavor of the meat inside, which was a tiny chicken Meatball. Next were the fried pork wonton. Delicious. Again, the outside didn't over power the flavor of the pork inside, perfectly and evenly fried. Roast Pork Fried Rice was not typical roast pork, it was authentic and so good! Rice wasn't sticky, it was moist and delicious. I ordered the Lamb and scallions. This was next level. The amazing flavor and tenderness of the lamb. Not a store bought scallion with heavy onion flavor, this was vegetable-like. Lastly the Beef and Mushroom stir fry. Again, flavorful and tender, we would have preferred less mushrooms, more beef. Excellent food experience. Only negatives: Everything came out as it was ready, not in soup, appetizer, entree order, so the fried rice came out first, then an entree, then the soup.....And the service. Painful. The family sat at a back table on their phones and computers, not checking in at all for drink refills or even the bill.

Haven’t been here for quite a while, somehow the business today was not as good as it used to be. But the taste of the dishes are still authentic! Everything were delicious and the experience was quite enjoyable for the whole family. They also have the lovely cushions on the benches which made my girl quite excited. Recommend everyone to come and support local business.

delicious food i would highly recommend and will definitely come back.
Every dish we tried was a masterpiece of flavors and textures, showcasing the chef's impeccable skill and dedication to authenticity. From the delicate dumplings to the fiery Szechuan specialties, each bite transported us to the bustling streets of Beijing or the tranquil tea gardens of Hangzhou.
The attention to detail extends beyond the cuisine to the presentation, with each dish artfully arranged to please both the eyes and the palate.

Best Chinese restaurant near Stony Brook! They open every day around 11 a.m. except Tuesday is 2 p.m. They provide dine-in options as well as delivery from UberEATS. Every dish is delicious and the best about this restaurant is that the quality of the food is stable and even better than before.
Here is a list of recommendation based on my preference:
1. baby napa in duck soup (BEST!!!)
2. Sliced fresh beef with soft tofu in spicy mala source (this is spicy)
3. Stewed Trotter with Chestnut (this is sweet)
For the Peking duck and lamb leg, you need to check if you have to reserve it a day prior to your meal.
Another highlight is that they deliver the lunch combo to Stony Brook University which is only 10 bucks for a rice bowl + soup or 15 bucks for a special one + duck soup. Try the rice bowl of sliced fresh beef with soft tofu in spicy mala source! It is my favorite among all the rice bowls. Nowaday Juyoige is my routine lunch option. ;p

Probably one of the best Chinese food and cleanest you'll ever find in Selden. A little overpriced but the quality is the best and always deliver what it is. They're a family operated store so it's usually under staff in the customer service area. Not their fault but the customers coming in especially the international students are usually very rowdy and ill-mannered. Food is definitely worth trying in none rush hours.

10/10 this place is a must.
The best hot and sour soup I've ever had. I'm highly impressed and recommend this place. The shrimp w bok choy and noodles was just as delicious. They should raise their prices honestly for the quality, I'll be coming here weekly.
Plus the squishys are just too cute. The service is amazing. I'll be coming weekly for the hot and sour soup and to try everything on the menu.
