Absolutely my go-to Japanese place in Kuching! The food never disappoints, I’ve ordered the garlic fried rice and the salmon karaage several times and they consistently taste good—even when I wanna try something new from their menu they’ll always meet my expectations, except for their ramen which in my opinion is kinda average. Price wise, I think the quality and portion of the food are worth it. The staffs will greet you when you enter the restaurant, so I guarantee you’ll always feel welcomed while dining in here!

We came 30 mins before closing and they were actually kind enough to still let us in. Service was really quick (probably cause we were the last customers). When we asked for Wasabi, they gave us a very very generous portion, which I appreciate. Food was good and reasonably priced. Parking can be found in abundance.

As japanese crusine, food so so, portion surprisingly bit big and yea, pricing kidda odd; some cheap and some so expensive. japanese always prior the customers service and yea i stand in the door and no people notice until i grab someone in front of me. plenty to be improve. Udon really… not ok 😰. sushi taste good pulak, weird.
oh but the dishes done in quick, that’s good.
and i saw lot others customers have plenty leftover, need to extra care about the taste.
At Pineaquare MJC, nice environment, good service, recommended.
