Nice place. If you want to try the brekkie menu, the smashed avo + feta is highly recommended. the rest of the menu just seemed a little dull. Well prepared but nothing too fancy. Price is a little steep compared to other cafes. Haven't tried the lunch menu. Will probably come back for that.

The Local has definitely become my local. Always greeted with a smile, good coffee, pretty food and kids are happy with pancakes and colouring in. Thansk team, love your work. I went to Lunch with some of my work colleagues. We were extremely disappointed. One lady did not get what she asked for, 2 ladies had finished their meals by the time the other two ladies got theirs and 1 lady had to ask for her tea which didn't arrive. Coffee and drink was delicious. Ordered calamari salad, perfectly cook with quality produce. Staff supper helpful and friendly. Definitely should come here if you visit Palmerston North. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stayed the night in Palmerston North so looked up where to have breakfast and this Cafe came up with great reviews. My grandson loved his, as did I. Beautifully presented and tasted great. Highly recommend. Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I bet your wondering what the pink drink , it’s a Beetroot Latte , yes you heard me . It was decent but I added sugar to it . I also ordered Deep Fried Cauliflower Pork Sliders 🍔 Both very delicious and different, if you don’t like spice I wouldn’t recommend for you but if you do I 100% would recommend it . I loved the mini coffee cups they so cute . The vibe and atmosphere was a happy and the staff are always keen for a joke/laugh . Love love love it , would go back
