If you're looking for a cozy restaurant to have an enjoyable dinner, we highly recommend this place located at the heart of GL. We had a lovely time and ordered three delicious beef koobidehs, shakshouka, and beef stew. Their wine selection was also impressive, and we enjoyed pairing it with our meals. Head over there for a satisfying gastronomic experience! :)

Great choice for dinner!
Lokanto is one of General Luna's best restaurant. While above the average local prices, the menu offers quite a bit of choice mixing mediterranean flavors with filipino ones.
The owner and the staff are quite friendly and the place offer indoor and outdoor sitting with some live performance several nights a week.
I recommend this place!

Great tasting Mediterranean food. We ordered the Greek Salad (10/10), chicken kebab: moist, flavorful, good portion (8/10 not exactly same flavor as chicken kebab I've had in US but very good still, I would order it again & again) sauces it came with were delicious, mango shake (10/10). Staff were attentive & not hard to get their attention at all. Service was great with automatic water offered & tissue paper (thick tissues given wow nice) upon seating. Pricing was appropriate. Live music was great. Ambience 10/10 with the lights & music. Roadside & easy to access. Would come back again & would recommend to others to visit.

Want a bit of European flavours? Come here.
Lokanto is a space which offers both indoor and outdoor seats and tables, live music on Friday nights and eventually also on weekends. The service is professional, and the food is tasty. We ordered Greek food (Chicken Gyros) and it was well-served.
If you're looking for something which isn't the local food, this place can give you some other options.

Chicken Gyros
Its a beautiful place, and the fried chicken is pretty good.
Avoid the Greek Salad though, its mostly cucumbers, almost no Feta cheese and tastes fairly average. They'd do better not offering it at all.

This is an overdue shoutout to the Lokanto Siargao crew! My birthday, back in January, was one for the books, and I'm slinging this praise their way because, honestly, it's long overdue. Now, I'm not usually the ringleader for my own birthdays – that awkward vibe, you know? So, I pitched this wild idea of a wake-themed shindig to mark the end of my twenties, and the Lokanto team? Total champs. Even though it's been months, I can't help but give them a virtual high-five. Seriously, these guys are infectious with their enthusiasm. Super friendly too, like old pals from the get-go. They get how to turn reservations into pure excitement, no doubt about it.
Chef Jerwin and the Lokanto crew? Absolute legends. They didn't just whip up the grub; they curated the whole vibe, dotting every 'i' and crossing every 't'. Creativity on point, attention to detail off the charts.
And oh, the feast! Hummus, kebabs, gyros – flavor explosions, each bite packed with love. These guys take their food game seriously, and it showed. Top-notch culinary vibes that matched the rest of the spectacle.
Chef Jerwin, the mastermind, and Marco, one of the bigwigs, hats off to you guys. You not only served up a feast that danced on my taste buds but curated the vibe to perfection. And let's talk cake – that grave-themed masterpiece? Unreal.
Fresh flowers as centerpieces on the tables? That was a classy and very resourceful touch since these flowers are found around the restaurant and I need to tip my imaginary hat to Lokanto for that. It's those little details that make an evening unforgettable.
And here's the kicker – we had a blast because the Lokanto crew were all in on my quirky ideas. They didn't just serve up food; they served up an experience. It felt like a collaboration, not just a birthday party.
To the Lokanto team, this shoutout is way overdue, but definitely well deserved. Thanks for making my birthday a standout memory. You guys are wizards at turning visions into reality, and I can't wait to see what other magic you'll cook up. Lokanto Siargao, you're a gem, and the crew behind it? Absolute legends. 🌟🎂

Serving is quite generous and the taste-just ok. Loved their fries seasoning though.
I hope they put a screen to the windows or something coz the flies were just everywhere. (Went for late Lunch) it might be a one-off incident though so good luck. :)

The stew meat was tender but the flavour wasn’t very rich in anything. The kebab was juicy but needed more spices. On a hight note the garlic sauce and the kofta was amazingzzzz
