The best mega empanadas in Mexico! And a lovely friendly welcome. Vegetarian options. This unassuming loncheria is a great tasting and amazing value stop off between Mérida and the archeological sites of Uxmal and Ruta Puuc. Make sure you come here! The 2nd reason to visit this small unassuming town along the Pucc Route is the home of the Mega Empanada. I have eaten empanadas from all over and these are absolutely the biggest and very tasty. Have your choice of carnitas, queso, queso y ham, pollo, and carne. Comes with avacado, lettuce, and tomatoes. Don't be scared off by broken road or sidewalk.
