I hadn't had Long John Silver's in years because we no longer have it in our area.... While visiting family we stopped for lunch. In a word the food was amazing! It was cooked fresh and was served while hot. The only issue was the man who took our order. I tried being polite and asking how his day was going. He went on a rant about how bad life is and proceeded to become political, blaming the current administration for everything wrong in his world. He is entitled to his views, but I didn't appreciate having an enjoyable meal with my family become tense due to his attitude. When we went in employees cleaning tables and floors. Staff at order taking fast and friendly. Food was outstanding all fresh and hot. Employee bought our food to the table very unexpected over the top for quick service. All staff very nice we came from Dalton to eat at LJS we wish we had a store in Dalton but it’s worth the drive. My sister went to the Drive through and ordered, when we got home we had a big surprise. The crunchy things they put in the bottom of the box was about an inch high and the French fries was hardly there they had them scattered in the crunchy So you wouldn't notice that there wasn't any.The fish were so Greasy you could squeezed the grease out of them. Long John Silvers is a place not known for quality. Typically its a mess, covered in grease, and the employees are sketch, but the food is always fire! This Long John Silvers, however, was probably the cleanest one I've ever seen. It defintely has aging to it, but the employees and the facility were actually in ship shape. For about 3 or 4 years, this location was notorious for low quality, poor service (terrible attitude in drive thru), and long wait times. However, there has been a drastic improvement during my last two visits. I'm talking Chick-fil-A level service and speed. It was definitely a surprise and especially noticeable after being conditioned to dread the drive thru experience. Whatever change they have made is working! Keep it up! Food: 4 Service: 5

Store#8294 ticket#3539@ 555pm est.... omgoodness this place has been a return favorite for MENY locals for 20+yrs. We was on a 5 ticket backup but restaurant an drive thru where both full. !!! They did a wonderful job getting food out an Tammy was super nice as cashier! I saw only 1 person say they where missing thier shrimp on to go pickup order but no one was rude or disrespectful which means alot in this era! Restaurant was clean an bathrooms ok.napkins, forks stand was stocked an all drinks working. Seemed everyone was helping each other. The crew that was there tonite where hustling to keep fried food fresh an on time. I spoke to another couple that drove in from summerville, ga. If I was to say one bad thing it would be that parking lot could do with more lights or better LED BULBS. The food is an anemic joke. I just paid $12 and change for shriveled up fish too tough to chew, cold hush puppies and french fries. It was so bad I took a photo. Pathetic restaurant coupled with egregious service. I'm sure the parent company may have interest in this given its 80% stake. Franchisees have a standard and responsibility which is clearly not present here. The health department likely needs to be contacted. Service Take out Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
