Best Longhorns in the state! Always friendly servers and perfectly cooked steak. So, very pleased Texas Road House could not do a party for 14 at 7pm or later. I called LongHorn Steakhouse they took and set us up with reservation for 730 a party of 13. Overall experience was just ok, I had higher expectations based on looking at their websites, but let's just say they must have had a great marketing budget. Server Nicholas was polite with words. But not bodily language as when I told him the food ( Baby back ribs) was cold and still very pink he took the plate like it was an issue that we wanted a hot meal that was made correctly.. I found the food was disappointing, found there was not much taste to the LH steak tips. In my opinion. The manger was nice and was very Apologetic for the food. WOW just WOW so I had a bad experience at longhorns years ago and didn't go back. Well last night hubby took me out and we went to Longhorn's and I've been missing out so bad!!!!! Now I'm a steak eater it's my favorite and can I say Nothing and I mean Nothing about our dinner disappointed us. It was absolutely amazing, atmosphere, food, service it was a magical night. Matt was very attentive and friendly the food was music to my pallet and the drinks mmmmmmmm. Honestly the atmosphere was classy and more like a Texas Ranch than a folksy restaurant. It's the first time I went there because my neighbor wanted to go there and yes the prices are a little higher than some other places but for what I ordered which was the Chop Steak which was at a reasonable price was good for me but when I got my order served to me which was a good portion of a chopped steak and sauteed onions, green peppers, and mushrooms on top of the steak w/ mashed potatoes and all topped off with beef gravy. As I still didn't like the sides of the plate where there was nothing on the plate was supposed to be nothing but on this plate was a whole bunch grease and then I asked our waitress if that was supposed to be like that she said it was probably from sauteing your veggies and they probably didn't strain the butter. I was not impressed with that order whatsoever. If ever someone else wants to go there I'll have to pass on that place because I was not impressed with that place.
