Best fried clams I've had in a long time. Price was reasonable compared to similar dinners elsewhere. Employees were super friendly and the place was clean. I was in town for work and if I lived around here I'd come often. I got the whole belly fried clam dinner, which was amazing. They were fresh and perfectly cooked. Also, the fries were the best I've had at any fried seafood place and that pineapple cole slaw was interesting and excellent. Keep it up--you guys have a good thing here. Best seafood in Southern Maine. Service is fast and courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is a 60's diner with all the 50's and 60's music play at just the perfect volume so you can hear it but it doesn't interfere with your conversation. Cleanliness, the place is immaculate. From the kitchen, to the dining room to the bathroom. We drive from Portland once or twice a month to get the best seafood at the fairest price. Excellent seafood! A surprising treat if a little unconventional. I was expecting a sit down restaurant, where a server would take your order. But this was a walk up counter and you got a pager that would light up when your order was ready. It is automatically boxed to go, but you can eat it in their store. Food was excellent. Prices were reasonable and locals appear to love it! There were at least three large groups of folks, that were enjoying each other’s company. A terrific family place. Another of our favorites in Sanford, Maine. If you like seafood, you gotta try Lord's Clam Box! Their clam chowder & seafood chowder are so very good! Onion rings are fried to perfection. When Lords Restaurant in Wells closed we were all devastated. But then Pam went ahead and gifted us with this fantastic new venue called Lords Clam Box. She runs this place like a well oiled machine- management plus. Sparkling clean, red white and black, the Box doesn’t disappoint. My Fried Clam Dinner was superb. The batter light and golden, my “ clam candy” was a delight to eat. Crispy shoestrings on the side with the famous Pineapple Cole Slaw. My friend had the broiled combo Haddock n Scallops. So ridiculously tender and succulent. She opted for a side of steamed broccoli. Please go here and eat. You will thank me.

Ordered pick up- My girlfriend got fish an chips with pineapple slaw bread an tartar sauce she loved the portion size and the haddock she's not much of a seafood person so it's a statement for here to clean up a plate of seafood.I got the fishermans plater same sides. Came to about 50$ The portions are great I ate half an was stuffed. The slaw was so refreshing and sweet so good, tater sauce was great. Whole belly clams were fired in a clum which happens but we're still great.
