Not only should Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park be visited, but also Luther's. Come to this bar for a break and taste perfectly cooked fried oysters, fried prawns and Pepperoni. You will like its food, especially good flija, Brezeln and waffles. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, waiters serve delicious draft beer or good cider. Great lemonade, ice tea or juice are waiting for you at Luther's. You can enjoy live music in the evening. The hospitable staff welcomes guests all year round. A lot of people note that the service is cool. Prices are found average here. You will appreciate the beautiful decor and pleasant atmosphere of this place. But this spot has been rated below average by Google.

Luther’s was a prime destination on our self defined Murdaugh Low Country Tour. In a nutshell, we loved it. We entered from Bay Street and walked through a dark hallway to pass the bar and find very nice small table seating outside facing the park. It is dog friendly so we retrieved our Shih Tzu and had him sit with us. We had great conversations with other dog owners and visitors and talked about some of our adventures in the area. Our fried oysters basket, draught beer and drinks were delicious, our servers were friendly and helpful, we were able to take quick walks out and back on the walkway to see the boats so all in all it was one of our favorite experiences and we want to go back before we leave to go home. We did go back and this time had David, who was very pleasant to talk too about our time in Beaufort. This encounter made the whole trip that much more enjoyable and we will look forward to coming back soon.

What a pity, we have come back thinking of giving them a second chance, after a long time, since they failed us with the service previously. Well, more than failing, they did not pay us any attention and after 20 minutes of waiting and seeing the waitress go by Saying absolutely nothing, we left. On this occasion, we thought that if we sat at the bar, perhaps it would be an easier service for them and perhaps faster for us. Well, none of that. We simply ordered some baskets, one of fish and the other of chicken. The waitress was attentive and there was no shortage of beers for us, but time passed, and the people who arrived after us already received their dishes. To call the attention of the waitress, we told her that we were going to go out to take some photos, that's when she told us that our order was "almost" ready, that had already passed more than 45 minutes. Upon re-entering, my husband told her that if it was not ready, we would cancel the order, she apologized and that's when she went into the kitchen to claim our plates. Another 20 minutes passed before they came out. We just didn't leave because we had hungry. The food was good. This has not been just a bad day, it is the disorder that reigns here and the poor organization that they have in the kitchen. We understand a waiting time, right now there is not much staff working and we respect it , but this place is unacceptable. It is a pity since it is in a privileged place.

We came in because it was a great location and looked good. We were seated immediately, got drink orders immediately and placed our food order not long after. For an appetizer we order crab dip. We waited over an hour for our food. Long enough for some of our party to have 2 or 3 drinks. We had seen other people come in after us and receive their food well before us. When we asked the waitress about our order, she stated that there was only 1 Cook (the manager) and there were so many tickets ahead of ours. We had asked the waitress for our tab for our drinks and we were going to leave and go somewhere else. The Manager came out and explained that she was the only Cook and they were understaffed and our food was almost ready and asked if we wanted to stay. We agreed to stay and received our food about 10 mi uses later. Our food was burnt, dry and lacking any sort of flavor that was described on the menu. The only good food we had was the French fries. I understand in these times places are understaffed and doing the best they can, but we saw our ticket in the waitresses back pocket and forgot to turn it in. We do not recommend.

This restaurant has went down hill since the last visit. Service is beyond slow. Had to find a server to get a menu even though there was 5 on the floor and 2 bar tenders. Had to remind the waiter ref our order. He was to busy bragging about his college experience to newly sat customers to see he had forgot to get my wife's drink from the bar. 15 min from the time we sat to waters and menus. 2 min for my soft drink 20 mins for my wife's drink from the bar Told twice in 10 mins that he was checking on the order. Another 10 mins our waiter stated the food was on the way. Watch the waiter continue to have conversations with the staff vs doing what he said. 9pm to get our food. This would be understandable if the restaurant was full but the front was empty and 4 tables and the back were also open ON AFRIDAY NIGHT. For a premium dinning location their service is questionably poor. 1 star because 0 isn't a option.

I can see myself having a drink there, and maybe a late night burger. I read in the reviews "the best burger in town" and after my experience i was like...how about not. The burger was okay, but i had to wait way too long for the burger. Also 2 tables that came after us, had their food before us, one of them also ordered before us but we were there like 10 minutes before them. After we got our food we lost the waitress, and okay i get it, if you are alone and busy i understand. But that means the organization of the store is not perfect. The burger club looked good, my cousin got it and said it was really good! I thibk if you are local you will like this store because they have a weekly schedule to keep you busy. But as a tourist...it was an average experience.

Great little sports bar. They had a stake dinner for $30. I would prefer they stay with what they are good at. Barfood. Their hot wings were great and my wife liked the cheese burger as well. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Chicken Wings

We went as soon as they opened on a Wednesday afternoon. Sat outside. Waitress brought us out waters asap, let us know we can order other drinks if we want. We got the crab dip which was exceptional. The bread was good but could have bene cut through all the way for easier dining. Not crazy about the Bugels they sent out with it... not sure why they chose Bugels. They were too salty in addition to the crab dip. I ordered the Oyster basket with sweet potato fries. The oysters were melt in your mouth perfection with just the right amount of crispy breading. No "off" fried taste or anything like that. they were wonderful. I do wish they had a remoulade sauce for dipping though. The sweet potato fries were great too. You could tell they weren't from frozen. Their Cole slaw is from fresh cabbage given it had a more natural flavor than the bagged stuff. The waitress was good to check in on us often and was friendly. Bathrooms clean, tables and all looked clean as well. For an appetizer and three baskets came out to $65- no drinks.

Hey you've got to go here. This city is the Best Beach city on East without tourist over kill. This bar is in between the Hip and classy. Loved it. The Owner is the MAN! I live 400 miles away and miss being there everyday.

This review is based on the last bad food. We go to Luther’s every time we visit. We usually have the burgers because I think they are ok, and we like the fries. The first time our waiter was not very attentive. One evening we were so hungry looking for something to eat, the pizza restaurant was crowded and the wait time was like half hour so we continued looking for another restaurant. We needed up at Luther’s, so we though ok, let’s try something else. I ordered the pizza, HUGE MISTAKE!! Our waiter was super nice, I asked her how the pizza was and she said it was very very good, haha, coming from the deep dish pizza town I should have know better. The pizza dough tasted like uncooked bread, hardly any sausage and pepperoni but the ultimate worst part was the horrific tomato sauce, it’s been weeks since I tasted it and I cannot get it out my head. It was a horrible experience, the box pizza taste better than this. Next time I will stick to nothing but the burger and fries and nothing else. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
