The owner was very nice and helpful. I love their pastries, where you can taste their hard work. The flavor was perfectly balanced. I’m glad we found this bakery to buy some pastries for the moon festival!
Very friendly services. Ordered a mini taro cake, added more cream per request. Not very sweet. 5 stars for the service, 5 stars for the prices ($20.45 for a “mini” cake, see picture), 4- stars for the taste.
We had multiple group orders from this bakery and I loved their products. Bread was not too greasy/oily and cheesecakes and frozen dumplings (yes they have authentic Northern Chinese dumplings) were delicious!
A hidden gem in a low profile plaza. The best Taiwan pastries I ever had in Bay Area. My favorite is the mug bean cake. After reheat , it becomes light , crunchy with a touch of perfect sweetness for asian taste buds. Highly recommend
Meka bakery, also known as the previous bakery was so much better than this new bakery. The owner is very rude to her own staff and I can always hear her yell at them. She is very two-faced and not suitable as an owner. Next of all, the bread is getting more and more expensive and the cake and bread quality are not stable.
Mini Taro cake had no fruit on top, and the "whip cream" was super stiff and tasted off. Birthday boy was really looking forward to it and was really disappointed. Would not buy again.
This is probably the only bakery in south/east bay that has so many different types of pork sung buns, for example, pork sung salad bun, pineapple pork sung bun, and peanut pineapple pork sung bun. I come here regularly for their pork sung salad bun, but they run out fast!
