For being one of only a couple of restaurants at Maderas beach, we were more than pleasantly surprised at both the level of service and quality of food at Sunset Bar. We came here several times over the course of our stay nearby, and our server Thomas was attentive, friendly, and respectful every time. The food is fresh, hot and delicious. A great spot for watching the sun set while enjoying some cold drinks and good food.

Maderas Sunset Bar became our lunch and smoothie spot while my husband surfed and I relaxed with a book. The staff was really chill and happy to let you hang for hours without pushing you to order more. The patrons were really friendly as well as all of the dogs that hung around. When you go, be sure to get the green booster smoothie - it's delicious! Thanks to the team at Maderas Sunset for an awesome beach experience! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our favorite place to hang on Playa Maderas! Great spot up off of the sand to watch the surfers. Love the seats along the front of the bar closest to the ocean. Tasty Jalapeño chicken! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Mala atención, te ofrecen algo bueno y te dan lo contrario, pura moscas, dilatan una hora en traer la comida. Tienen un pésimo servicio, solo aceptan efectivo, y te indican que tiene pos pero no lo utilizan.

Great restaurant with excellent food and super friendly service. Everything is clean and comfortable, the views are impeccable and we loved the shade and the breeze. We spent many afternoons here and particularly enjoyed the milkshakes, the fajitas and the Toñas after a good day of surfing. Our best recommendation. We will be back!

Best post-surf smoothies and delicious jumbo plates of nachos. The friendly owners and staff will make you feel like family. This is one of my favorite beach restaurants! Definitely order a michelada and be sure to stay for sunset!
