Very tasty food in a quieter part of Paihia. Location is perhaps a little odd as it’s attached to a local social club which you have to walk through to enter but that wasn’t an issue. I recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants really good Indian cuisine.

Food was great, we got mango chicken, sagwala and chicken madras, along with the mixed platter to start. The medium spice was very good and the quality of each food. Entrance was a little hard to find but recommend coming here for some quiet but great indian cuisine in paihia. Away from all the tourists and other bush venues z

Poor service. What annoys most to a vegetarian than getting a chicken dish served instead of a veg order placed (see pic).
The guy in the counter who was outside and came in only at the time of payment defended for mistaken order without knowing what actually happened.
Food quality itself wasn’t bad.

Really delicious authentic Indian food. A friend brought me here last time I visited Paihia and this time round I had to bring the whole family. The staff are skilfully attentive without being too much, we all had a great meal and left with full tummies. You know what they say when travelling, eat where the locals eat, and this place is no exception to that rule. Compliments to the chef.

Delicious food, generous portions, nice atmosphere and excellent service. We had Butter Chicken and Chicken Korma. Highly recommend this fabulous restaurant.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at this slightly out of the way restaurant in Paihia. We enjoyed the chicken biriyani (medium heat was nicely warm without being over the top). The onion bhaji were great, very generous serve, and the extras we ordered (mint dressing, pickle) were excellent.

Totally delicious food. Had the butter chicken, chicken korma and cheese naan bread. This place is a bit off the beaten path making it peaceful and delightful dinning experience. Would totally eat here again if I’m back to the area. Yum.

Not on Main Street but easy walk to RSA where Madly Indian occupies the mezzanine floor. Great selection of quality Indian food at mid-range prices. Attentive polite service. Deserves to be more popular than indicated by guest numbers this evening.

This is a great Indian restaurant (and I’ve been to India many times). You can tell the chef cares about the food he’s putting out. It’s got a ton of flavour. We enjoyed the Saag Aloo, Lamb Madras, and Garlic Naan. It’s a little expensive but the servings are large and the quality is very good, so no issues.
