In an environment where eateries dot every street, Mama Okpe Restaurant is one such neighbourhood eatery that is easily accessible and decent for meals at. Oke Ira, Ogba area of Lagos. The eatery is located just along the Powerline Road that leads to Ojodu Local Government Secretariat in Oke Ira. Mama Okpe Restaurant offers mainly African meal swallows like amala, eba, pounded yam, semovita and wheat, along with assorted soups such as egusi, ewedu, okra, vegetable and gbegiri (beans soup). To go with the meals are assorted meats, fish, chicken wings and sometimes turkey. For drinks, there are bottled water, soda and yoghurt only. No alcoholic drink is served there. The interior of Mama Okpe Restaurant is lit, clean and comfortable, but flies sometimes can be a nuisance. Generally, the service is prompt but whenever there is a buildup of customers, there can be a little delay in getting served. Payments for meals are usually in cash and customers can pay after being served. One can eat in or take away. Overall, meals offered by Mama Okpe Restaurant are sumptuous, satisfying and affordable.
The food was good and delicious. I would recommend the goat meat to anyone any day . The environment is clean but the management can do better.
Note : No POS or transfer, ensure you go along with your cash . However there is a POS stand by the Restaurant.
