Truly the most delicious cookies (biscuits) you could ever find. The "White Choc & Cranberry Oat" biscuits are my favourite and are moreishly chewy. However the wickedly chocolately "Dark Choc & Almond" biscuit is crisp for those who love a crunchy crummy yummy bite. The packaging is gorgeous, fancy and arty - making it an excellent choice for a "foodie" gift to friends, family or colleagues. Once you taste these delicious cookies you'll look forward to tea-time as a true treat. Hopefully local stores will start stocking these, as its a 1h 55 min drive to Prince Alfred Hamlet. Not relishing a 4hr drive every time I long for a great cookie with my tea/coffee.

Bought this on Friday at Haasendal Gables Spar. Paid more than R70 for this box of biscuits as a gift. Only to find out afterwards that it was already expired when I purchased it. The expiry date is nowhere on the outside of the box. Instead, the expiry date sticker is only on the packet inside. Are we expected to open the boxes in store before purchasing? Very inconvenient. I am unable to return this product now and therefore very disappointed.

Was gifted a box of Mamamac's dark choclate and almond biscuits yesterday,yummeee! Not shy on the cocoa and almonds.Nice lingering choclate taste on palate,would definitely recommend

If you are heading into the Cederberg via Ceres, stop at MamaMacs bakery in Prince Alfred Hamlet and stock up on some really good biscuits. They have the ginger ones down to the T. Just small and bite sized enough to not mess up the car.
