Delicious oolong tea ice cream with cute cat cookie 🥰 nice tea samples for you to smell before purchasing nice cafe right nearby the gondola station , the 3rd cafe to be exact. Walk in and enjoy a cup of tea or have an ice cream to start your journey

The first highlight after alighting from the gondolas on 13th Oct is to try the oolong tea ice cream here. The staff is friendly and the environment is warm. As my ice cream had melted while placed on hold at counter before I need to use the toilet urgently, the staff kindly replaced it free of charge after I got back from the toilet. Recommended dishes Oolong Tea Ice Cream

Staff was friendly and kind to explain the variety of Teas. Environment was nice, air conditioning provided, and plenty seats available. Oolong tea ice cream was slightly expensive, but the tea flavour was not very strong, it was mild only. The cookie is very cute, and according to the staff, it is freshly baked daily on site. Dropped by while visiting Maokong, and we tried their tea roasted eggs and bought some local Taiwanese tea as gifts for family and friends. They have a good range of teas and tea sets, perfect for gifting. We tried their famous soft serve ice cream with the cute cat biscuits on top, great for that Instagram post! Though this teahouse is one of the first after you step off the gondola, I think it's high rating is well-deserved. We enjoyed the cute atmosphere. They have a large variety of teas you can sample, choosing service for either one person or two and carefully explain how to brew the tea. I enjoyed the beautiful tea services, which can also be purchased there. The tea flavored ice cream is also a must try. I like the Tieguan (oolang) one so much I went back for seconds!

Price was a little steep for coffee and iced chocolate and it was served not hot enough but more of lukewarm (for the coffee). Soft serve tasted amazing but it was very easy to melt and messy to eat so we advice to take videos and photos immediately and consume it right away.
