Perfection!...came all the way from Victorville and I wasn't disappointed!.. the service was pleasant and friendly as soon as you walk into the door. The waffles are very tasty and buttery good..the fried chicken was fresh and hot and delicious. Now...those greens...what a delight...not too spicy...very flavorful and that golden brown chicken is alll that! The peach cobbler is old skool Perfection!!Come down and check it out for yourself . Lots of the complaints I read was about how busy the restaurant is, and that part is true. When my partner and I went, it was around noon, they had one server and one PERSON cooking (who I believe is the owner). We had to wait to be seated until the second server arrived and I actually think this was ethical based on how many people a server can serve at a time. Their food was delicious and fresh, greens were perfectly seasoned (and you can tell that was fresh and not canned) and the servers and owner themselves were friendly and attentive. It's post-pandemic and small mom and pops business struggle! People have to have more compassion when it comes to this. The wait was SO worth it and the owner was killing it in the back by herself. This was my husband and I 1st visit. Parking was good, we were ordering to go so the wait was about 20/30 minutes. The service was welcoming and courteous. The food was on point, we ordered chicken wings, greens, cornbread muffins & smothered chicken and rice. Greens (w/smoked turkey ) was flavorful. Cornbread muffins were moist and buttery. Wings, seasoned and cook how I like it, not to hard. The smothered chicken was very tender & juicy. Rice cooked well. I'm rating this place based on a great conversation.....but so far meeting the owner tells it all.. a wonderful person strong business woman. And a go getter..Im looking at the menu it looks delicious the rating looks outstanding. . I can't wait to try it.. and for those who are looking for some great home cook meal ..comfort food . Straight from your moms kitchen this looks like the place ..

Excellent food, excellent service! Unlike other "chicken and waffle" establishments, this place ACTUALLY has chicken and not chicken strips. The breading is phenomenal with a home cookin' quality to it. I loved the waffle with the perfect amount of powdered sugar. When I went in it was busy with just the cook and the hostess/waitress. They were friendly, not stressed out and the service was fast. I can't believe a place like this exists so close to my home. I'll being going back as soon and as much as I can.
