We ordered a pie For Christmas and it was ready when it was promised. That said, out of the 36 people that enjoyed the Christmas dinner, only two small slices were consumed. If the pie had been sliced into 8 pieces, the total eaten would equal one eighth of the whole. The atmosphere in the shop was adequate, but in my opinion, there should have been one more employee, that would have reduced the Obvious stress on the two women that were working. Would I recommend? Sadly, no Bill Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
I was pleasantly surprised with how good this bakery is. The homemade chocolate chip muffins are phenomenal. I got one and had it heated up, ate it in the car and immediately went back in for another. Highly recommend swinging by, I know I will be back when I'm in town.
Got the classic Italian sandwich and it was very good. Both of the different cookies I bought, (chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin) were both amazing. Only complaint I would have is it took almost 20 minutes to get my sandwich. Other than that everything was fantastic.

Swung by there to pick up some Halloween decorated cookies last week, they were all out; BUT, I decided to try one of their deli sandwiches. I ordered the California Chicken. It was wonderful. The apple slaw and quality chicken and sandwich bread made memorable! I'll be back. Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
My husband ordered me a very custom cake wirh 3 different flavors. It turned out amazing! All of our friends and family loved it!!
Best cookies and cheesecake I've tasted in Flushing! Prices can be steep but for delicious goods, I am willing to pay more. The owner is nice. The complaint I have is that I've often gone by and they are closed when it's posted that it should be open. Also, being short staffed, there is often a shortage on variety. I really like the caramel pecan cookies but they haven't been available when I've stopped by, which has been at least six times in the last month. I even reached out to the owner who said that she would personally make them and contact me. She didn't and when I attempted to contact her again, she just didn't answer. Too bad this business is so unreliable. Great bakes! Terrible business practices.
I called the bakery to order a Black Forest Cake for my mom's 70th birthday after viewing the photos on their website. When I got to the bakery to pick up the cake the lady behind the counter appeared to be making something for a gentleman that was standing there. Her mask was pulled down to her chin. I'm not some mask Natzi, but it was Jan. 23 and masks were mandated at that time so it struck me as odd that she would be doing that with customers in the store. The cake was in a box with the lid laying on the top of the cake. That is not normally how a cake is packaged (even at the grocery store), so I was a little taken aback. Once I got the cake home and removed it from the box, it looked as if the cake was not finished being decorated. I was having my family for dinner within the hour so at that point, it is.... what it is. I was genuinely embarrassed when I presented the cake to my family. I have attached a picture of the cake. I did contact the bakery the following morning and explained my disappointment. I've attached a picture that they sent me of another black forest cake they did (though larger). I do not think these cakes look alike, so I was very surprised that they did not see what I was seeing. After a bit of a discussion, the bakery offered to refund my money and suggested that I come into the bakery to credit my card. I explained that I wasn't sure when I would be able to make it in due to my schedule/their hours. On Jan. 28 I was told that a refund check had been processed. On Feb. 28 I notified them to let them know that I had not received a check and received a response thanking me for letting them know and that it would be resolved today. I still have not received a check from them. I see the bakery has wonderful reviews, but unfortunately they did not get it right this time
The food is good, but very slow. It must be very loud in the back because it has taken several minutes to get staff to realize I'm there each time I've visited. The doorbells are annoying, but might be a helpful addition to alert you to a customer. It is also worth noting that if you stop by for a later lunch, you might only be eventually greeted by the dish washer and told he can't help you. I'm not sure why the shop would even be open if you can't serve customers.
