There's a beautiful restaurant inside filled with color and booths are clean. Maybe I should have ordered something differently and read the menu better. I had the super burrito, and it sucked. It was filled with rice and beans and a side of rice beans on the plate. It's was too much. Bland taste on the rice. Service took a while for us to order. Fantastic experience. Very friendly and helpful staff, amazing attitude, looked like a family operated grill to me. The food was lovely and very fresh. If I was passing by Coos Bay, I would make a point of stopping here. I was really impressed with everything and one day, I hope to be lucky enough to visit again. Went here with my in-laws while they were in town, and everyone loved it. It was busy but the service was great! There was a wide variety of options, of course the margaritas were good, and the dessert after was delicious. Would reccomend! Meh..... Nothing special. Wasn't great but wasn't awful. They give you the smallest amount of salsa I had to ask the guy four different times to bring me more just to fill up the little cup they gave me. Ugh 😩 isn't that the whole point of Mexican food. Double charged for a drink and I had to mention it. Oh you only had one the lady said. Like DUH! Communicate with others and don't double charge someone. You know what my table had. You thought you where gonna get away with it. TRIPLE READ YOUR RECEIPTS PRIOR TO PAYING!!! Lady also took off from getting our order and we where not done ordering. 🙄 ID HONESTLY STAY AWAY.

The food is great! I grew up near the border in AZ, and so I'm used to authentic Mexican food. Margaritas Mexican Grill has authentic Mexican cuisine with a coastal flare. I love the fish enchilada, which is amazing, as well as the regular cheese enchilada. Beans and rice are great! Love their salsa. The margaritas are very good. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They just seem to be possibly understaffed at the moment. On our last visit, there was only one server serving every table. It was on a Friday night, and so we had to wait a while for refills on drinks and for more salsa, etc. The server was doing the best she could, but it was unusual to have to wait that long as normally we have never had to wait that long before. But, I highly recommend Margarita's Mexican Grill!!! It is my favorite place in town for Mexican food.
