To enter this restaurant, (if you are looking at Pingo Doce) it's to the left down a brown pavement ramp! I recommend always making a reservation due to the limited space. The service was wonderful and all 3 waiters tended to us. They explained that everything is made in the hour with the freshest ingredients. I had the super cheesey codfish which was delicious and my partner had the beef scallops which were tasty but very simple. The space was very comfortable and quaint. Brilliant and delicious! Extremely friendly staff who tell you all about the food with interesting facts and tips. The food can only be described as delicious. They start with serving you a plate full of little bites of regional produce (you only pay what you eat) with bread. We then ordered various tapas and all of them were delicious. My absolute favourite were the Gambas a Maria Bojarda. The sauce is to die for! Would definitely recommend to take your time and taste as much as possible. Enjoy! Very cosy restaurant, very friendly and attentive staff. Good food, excellent service. They put some starters on the table and explained that you would only be charged for the ones that you are, we appreciated the explanation and sincerity. Would 100% recommend, lovely experience! This place is in a basement and had no windows but is somehow still one of the brightest, well lit rooms in habe been in. The food and service were phenomenal. The food was very disappointing, tasteless and bland. Portions were tiny, and the staff were very rude. Not to forget overpriced, too. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Incredible food, great service and the environment was just perfect. It's a place to share tapas with friends or for a romantic dinner. I've eaten a salmon taco, clams to bulhão pato and a Tuna steak in bolo do Caco, all traditional dishes, and for dessert an original, pastel de nata cheesecake. Very cozy environment and nice staff. The food quality is good. We ordered the cod fish, cold cut/cheese and some tapas. The cod fish is rich with baked cheese. Really tasty.

Absolutely amazing experience. We came into Sintra from the US. This was one of the only places still open when we were ready for dinner. The waiter helped explain the menu item by item in English. We got the tapas, specifically the salmon tacos, the beef, and the chicken wings. All were incredible. We got desert at the end, chocolate Mousse and the banoffee which was just like banana pudding from back home. The meatball-appetizers they gave us in the beginning were out of this world tasty as well. The mojitos we had were made with super fresh ingredients. 10/10 I wish I could go back.
