Nice place for a quick lunch. We tried their hot stone with chicken, beef, pork, fish, and prawn. It was really good and fun to prepare your own food at the table. It was plenty for the three of us with some extra rice and french fries. Make sure you ask for fresh chilli.

Meat Fish and Prawns Plate
I recently visited this cafe that boasts a wonderful ambiance and laid-back vibes, providing a perfect setting to unwind. However, my dining experience had its ups and downs:
The highlight of the menu was the hot stone seafood platter, served with garlic butter and saffron butter, which we had to cook ourselves on the hot stone placed on our table. While the interactive aspect was interesting, I found the flavors lacking in the seafood. The dish was accompanied by a gravy that seemed to be primarily tomato puree and plain rice. Unfortunately, the overall flavor profile was somewhat underwhelming.
On a positive note, the banana crepe with vanilla ice cream came to the rescue after the slightly disappointing main course. It turned out to be an absolute delight, with its rich and satisfying taste.
In conclusion, the cafe's inviting atmosphere and chill vibes set the stage for a relaxing dining experience. Although the hot stone seafood platter fell short in terms of flavor, crepe with caramelised banana and vanilla ice cream managed to redeem the meal with its scrumptious taste.

A nice restaurant with a big terrace, direct at a smaller road with minor traffic. We had the fish and meat grill for one person and shared between two and this was enough (for one person suitable only when you are very hungry). Was very tasty, with garlic and safran butter. We paid for this one main dish + 2 beverages + one french fries almost €50 in total. Unfortunately such prices are quite common at Seychelles...

It was fun to cook our own food. Very good meats and seafood. Fried rice should be improved and fire protected.

We didn’t realize that it won’t be cooked food as usual, but a whole experience where we would be cooking our shrimps and fish on a stone right on our table. That was absolutely fantastic. I recommend you to go there if you’re on the western side of Mahé.
Take the left road with signage after passing Kempinski hotel main entrance. Excellent food and service. The hot stone dish is a must try for engaging clients in cooking their own food on the hot stones.
Very original place and menu. It's worth a visit even only to see the restaurant setting itself - it's carved in a huge granitic rock. You cook your own food on hot stones - you just can't make it wrong and it'll surely be very very tasty. The staff is helpful and curtious. Parking is free and readily available. The road to the restaurant is a bit narrow and with lots of curves, so best to visit for lunch or early dinner (and drive in daylight).
It was pretty out of the way. The service was good, the food was good. I had the mixed meats grill was great. The shrimp crappie was disappointing. The decorations was interesting .
The ambience was very weird but I liked it. It seemed very original. They bring you a hot stone and raw meat with butter so you cook your own food. Overall it’s an experience and the view was very nice. The staff were really friendly and portions seemed decent to me.
