Lovely bakery with the best bread and cinnamon rolls in Ponta Delgada. Owners are extremely friendly. Recommended to go early as the bread is popular

Delicious sourdough bread. Make sure to come early enough because there’s a queue for deliciousness.

Diese Bäckerei ist ein Glückssegen für alle diejenigen die gute dunkles Brot auf den Azoren vermissen! Hurra! Sauerteig! Hier wird er verwendet, für Mohnbrote, aber auch Vollkorn-Leinsamen-Brot. Freitags und Samstags gibts Mohn und Zimtschnecken, deren Geschmack köstlich sein soll, ich aber leider nicht selbst in den Genuss kam. Die Einrichtung & der Stil der Bäckerei gefällt mir sehr. Junges, freundliches herzliches Team! Unbedingt einen Besuch einplanen.

Due to the high-quality ingredients and slow fermentation process, the bread produced by Massa Mãe is easier to digest and provides more nutrients than industrial bread. Ponta Delgada has long deserved an artisan bakery. Highly recommended.
