There were hardly any people before dinner though it was around sunset. Surprisingly there were plenty of servers. Air-conditioning was barely noticeable. The Halo-halo was underwhelming for a price where you'd expect a more than average mix. The Pansit Canton was dry. The Panna Cotta sampler (mocha, ube, caramel) was creamy and jiggly enough to make it a worthy of being called so. Bakery section only has caramel bars available. Ordered food. Apparently they are not serving service water! Is this not the responsibility of the restaurant? The reason provided was that their water filtration system is broken. Regardless they need to provide service water and not force customer to order drinks (e.g. Bottled water). I was prepared to leave but gave in to the decision of my team to order ice tea. Is this not "highway robbery"? Yes, I have the choice to leave but this outlet needs to be reported to the LGU or pertinent authority. Watch out if your plates and bowls are clean. 🤪 Food is too tasty- too much monosodium glutamate. 😖

This restaurant has been at this location for many years, easily outliving the other restaurants that opened around the same time. I’ve dined here a few times and remember the experience to be mostly pleasant. I had the same pleasant experience during a recent visit with family. The classic fried chicken has remained the same and it’s nice to see some new additions to the menu. Service was friendly and attentive.
Their Tofu Rice Bowl doesn't taste the same with the other branch.
Service is good waiters are all nice and very accommodating. The Place is clean, food is reasonable and tasty.

It is as iconic as a landmark as it is strategic as a meeting point for people from different parts of Central and North Luzon to gather.
The crews/staffs were not welcoming. The staffs were all over the place being loud and gossiping, making us feel uncomfortable eating.

Good taste with all served food. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Chicken tasted like it was cooked, put in the fridge for a month, then microwaved before it was served. So dry and you can feel that "old refrigerated" taste. Not worth your penny.
As a health-minded foodie, I recommend the garlic rice, the fish fillet with black bean sauce, and the watered down pineapple juice. That combo can also be ordered as a rice bowl. The sandwiches are also a good option. The tofu and veggie dishes look alright, so long as the tofu is not GMO soy, but that's questionable.
