We visited on opening day 12/15/23. Very nice. Two lane drive through, ample parking, outside eating area, play place!, and a nice dining area. Food was delicious. Staff was courteous and as excited as we were to be there! Great location, easy access and a perfect resting place for through travelers as well as locals. New place on southwest...took forever to reopen...used to be the best in angelo in my opinion but has now sunk to level of the other 2, if not worse. The burgers were sloppy. The staff was not friendly at all, and drive thru was slow , at 2pm...and evidently the people can't take an order properly. One star is generous! The level of incompetence of the staff is mind numbing. Ordered my son a happy meal took 14 minutes!!! In the drive thru. Nuggets were lukewarm at best fries might as well been pulled from the fridge. For what McDonalds charges and quality of service and product this is an insult to the consumer. Being from another state I found the entryway to the drive-thru very confusing. I understand that they have been under construction for a while so perhaps it will improve. I got a coffee and it was my delicious McDonald's black coffee as always. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The new McDonald's looks amazing, the parking lot is still a mess, the drive thru is always long and slow but the food tastes like all other McDonald's. It's nice having a McDonald's on this side of town again but I hope their speed picks up. Parking lot is a nightmare to get in if you are dining in. They just remodeled and completely renovated the parking lot. Not! They are slow to order and we waited for food for three of us for 25 minutes. I finally got my food after I told them I wanted a refund, then our order was wrong. Several people were waiting also and some of them complained about their order being wrong also. The manager needs to be fired. Do not go to this McDonald’s. I filed a complaint online. Ordered on the mobile app and had to change it from drive thru, to inside pick up due to the line being all the way to the street. After waiting 20 minutes, along with several other people who had come inside from curbside, we were told that the mobile app wasn’t working. They wanted to ring us up again and have us pay again when the payment had already gone through on the mobile app. I decided not to because I didn’t want to wait another 20 or 30 minutes and asked for a refund. They said that because the app wasn’t working, that the payment “should maybe” show up in my account in a few days. Terrible Service and time management. The training manager was the one who told us this. This was only after he went and prepared his own lunch for himself first, and was doing absolutely nothing to help the situation of a backed up drive-thru and full lobby. I still haven’t gotten my refund. This is ridiculous since the restaurant just had their reopening 5 days ago. Fist time at this location.12:39pm. They were not that busy but drive thru took forever. My drink order was wrong. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! This store is a door dashers nightmare. Every time I receive an order from here, I have to wonder what’s going to go wrong this time. They complete any order that is not DoorDash first and have absolutely not a single care for door dashers time. I would suggest for the customers out there to never order from this store, and to the dashers out there to never accept the order. It will most certainly be the worst experience of your day if you do. They are Ill equip to serve drive thru, dine in, or DoorDash within a timely manner.
