Heard of this place serving great steaks, unfortunately, what I had was nothing close to great.
Ordered a medium rare, grain fed steak sirloin, costing RM92.50, but didn't expect everything to go down south.
I mean for a steakhouse, at least get the outer crust right! Look behind the char lines, My crust was gray and sad. Cut it open, it's rare, almost raw. Had to drench my steak in the sad black pepper sauce because it had no flavour.
I finished it tho, too expensive not to.
We also got the sea bass , the fish took 45mins to serve, I finished my steak and drink only the fish came. The bottom of the plate was wet , causing the bottom of the fish to be soggy along with soggy potatoes wedges.
At the end of the meal , server asked how was the food, well I told him not that great , he didn't even care to ask why so.
So I guess this is it, my first and last at Me'nate.

I'd like to give my feedback and compliments to the chef and manager, Manager Sukardi.
My dinner experience here starts with the beef nachos, which were excellent, especially with the flavorful cheese sauce.
However, the beef aglio e olio had an excess of olive oil and was a bit under-seasoned. The lamb ribs, beef ribs, and salmon main courses were enjoyable, particularly with the BBQ sauce, though the salmon could have been softer with a crisper skin (it was quite chewy).
The portions of potato wedges and curly fries were generous but seemed a bit much compared to the main dishes. On a positive note, the creme brulee for dessert struck a good balance in sweetness.
Looking forward to more drink choices for the free-flow option. Overall, a pleasant experience with room for improvement.

Beef Ribs
So far food portion quite ok, can fullfill hungry stomach. The steak for me is on average, the sauces quite thin actually which u can choose from 3 different types. Open for lunch till nights give u a long time not to be standing for seat. The good thing is u have freeflow water/carbonated drink from the counter. Suitable for family gathering as got menus for 5-6pax.

1. Had a last min reservation and staff able to accommodate.
2. Fast service. Definitely a plus.
3. Food was delish. Everyone (adults & kids) enjoyed it. Starter is a huge portion, so don't order per person. Note: MOM is not a fan of western food, but she gave a thumbs up for the lamb shank that she ordered. That is SUPERB!

Me and my family just had a wonderful dinner here, and I could say that the food is amazing, especially the wagyu ribeye and lamb shank. We love it so much. Not to mention all of the staff were very friendly, especially one named Tengku Shafiza (if I'm not mistaken). He was being very helpful with the serving, and we really appreciate it. Overall, thumbs up and well done for the food and friendly staff 👍🏻👍🏻

Wagyu Sirloin Steak Angus Rib-Eye Steak
We came to treat our mum for her birthday. We ordered variety of food i.e steak, pasta, burgers & peri-peri chicken. Our honest opinion, the food doesn’t live up to the hype & our expectations.
1) Steak Grain Fed Striploin - it was not seasoned well, and a bit chewy. The vege served with the steak, sangat berkira ya. We counted there were only 2 green beans, 3 pieces of carrot stick, 1 piece of lettuce and 1 piece of broccoli.
2) Peri - Per chicken - was also under seasoned, the peri-peri sauce doesn’t have the tangy, salty, spicy flavor at all, the taste was flat and very underwhelming. The corn on cob was tasteless, not sweet / well seasoned.
3) The burgers was ok. Patty was well seasoned but nothing special that will make us want to come back for more. And the bun was mehh, we definitely have had better.
4) Fish & Chips was a definite no, more batter than actual fish flesh.
5) The only acceptable dish was pasta, which is funny because we thought steak is your speciality.
And also, we wonder why does your restaurant doesn’t serve plain water to your patrons. Why do you need us to purchase your Menate mineral water? You are already charging your customers premium price for the food, atleast serve us complimentary plain water as per other establishments.
The only good thing I can comment is your server team. They are good, polite & attentive. And the service was quick, we didn’t have to wait long for our food.
But that’s all about it.
We even feel bad for our mother since she didn’t get to enjoy a good steak as expected. Wish we had brought her to a better restaurant.
